K ith&Kin obituaries Andrea “Andi” Helen Adams, 63 SUQUAMISH — Andi passed away peacefully April 13 at home with her family by her side. Andi was born Jan. 11, 1951. She is survived by her husband T o m Adams, sister Rosalie Morabe Andrea Adams (Gene), brother Vic Pipo (Brenda), daughter Marisa Acuña (Chris) and sons Robert Seets (Sara) and JR Seets (Sandra). She leaves behind six grandchildren Sasha, Kaitlin, Ashlynn, Victoria, Jaden, and Laela. Andi was preceded in death by her son, Sean Edward Seets, in 2008. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass May 3 at 10 a.m. at St. Cecilia’s Catholic

Roger A. “Bull” Durham, 58 LONGVIEW — Roger A. Durham passed away at St. John’s Medical Center April 18. Long High School and joined the Navy, where his life as a submariner was extensive.

He was a kind soul, a devoted family man, and much loved by those who knew him. His remains will be placed at the Willamette National Park in Portland, with military honors at a later date. Betty Cathryn Hall POULSBO — Betty Cathryn Hall went home to be with the Lord April 11 at Harrison Medical Center. She was a woman of faith and loved Jesus with her whole heart. She had been fighting a long battle with diabetes and heart issues. She was a very strong woman and fought the good fight until an infection overwhelmed her kidneys beyond functionality. She is survived by her son, Michael Hall of Kingston, and her daughter Michelle Hall of Poulsbo. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Kierstin Hall-Hughes of Poulsbo,

Amber Christleib of Deland Fla., James Hall, Abbigail Hall, Anna Hall and Ava Hall of Poulsbo, and grandson-in-law Casey Hughes of Poulsbo. Also surviving is her four brothers: David Talton, James Talton, Wayne Talton, and Charles Talton of Alabama. Betty was preceded in death by her mother Excelle Talton, h e r father Betty Hall Junior Talton, her husband George Hall, and her son James Hall. Betty leaves behind many close family and friends too numerous to mention. We will miss you! A memorial will take place at on April 26 at 1 p.m., at the Storehouse Church, 20714 State Hwy 305 NE, Poulsbo. Benjamin Francis Jennings Sept. 9, 1926 – Jan. 13, 2014

POULSBO — Retired Navy Lieutenant Commander Benjamin F. Jennings died Jan. 13 at Harrison Medical Center. Better known to his friends as Frank, he was born Sept. 9, 1926 in Hunters, Wash. to the late Benjamin Franklin Jennings and Mabel Minnie Friske Jennings. While attending West Seattle High School, he enlisted in the US Navy in 1943. He served in WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. On Feb. 15, 1948 in Wenatchee, Wash., he married Florence Marie Demarest. Frank and Florence raised a family of three boys, Ben, Doug, and Mike. After Frank’s retirement from the Navy in 1973, the family settled in Poulsbo, where he was employed by the Gould, Vitro, and Honeywell Corporations until his final retirement in July 1988. Frank and Florence enjoyed traveling until Florence’s death on Jan. 30, 1991. He later married Lynn Cannon, to whom he remained married until her

death on Feb. 19, 2008. Frank was a member of the Good Sam’s Club of North Kitsap, the Masonic Lodge and Shriners International, as well as the REACT Organization. He was affiliated with the Association of Aviation Ordnancemen. Frank was honored to participate in the Honor Flight Program. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mary Robbins. He is survived by two sisters, Bettie Jennings and Mina Rogers, and by his three sons, five grandchildren, seven g r e a t - Benjamin F. g r a n d - Jennings children a n d numerous nephews and nieces. His ashes will be interred in a private ceremony at Mountain View Cemetery in Poulsbo. A celebration of life will be held May 10 at 1 p.m. at Vinland Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Frank’s name to the Shriners Hospitals for Children. —Family of Benjamin ­ Francis Jennings
