BARKER, June Margaret May 17, 1920 - Aug 15, 2012 June passed away peacefully in Abbotsford on August 15th at the age of 92. She lived independently on her own in Aldergrove and enjoyed her pretty garden. Lovingly remembered by her children: Ron (Barb), Brian (Pat), Bev (Randy), Barb (Don); 8 grandchildren; 4 greatgrandchildren; her brother Grant (Yvonne); 3 nephews and 2 nieces. June was predeceased by: her husband Earl James Barker; her parents David & Dorothy Holmes; brothers Cecil & Keith; and Joe, her special friend and companion. A memorial service will be held on October 1st at 10 a.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, Surrey. June will be remembered for expressing her witty political views to her family and friends. Special thanks to ACE Unit on 3rd Floor at Abbotsford Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Lung Foundation, or the charity of your choice.

Kenneth Raymond (Ken) November 21st, 1935 – September 14th, 2012.

Ken passed away peacefully in Langley BC on September 14, 2012 surrounded by his loving wife of 54 years, Velma children Darlene (Steve) Foxgord, Cheryl (David) Wilson, Danny (Carol) Beaton, Lisa Beaton (Sue Torvik). Ken is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Beaton Residence on Saturday October 20th at 1:00 PM. Very special thank you to all the staff at Cedar Hill Care Home in Langley. You are all Angels in our hearts with the loving care you provided our Dad. He spent his life as a building contractor and always started his day with a plan. He was always there when you needed a hand. Dad loved life, his family and new adventures. He will be missed by his children; Darcy, Kim (Brian), Janelle (Barry) and grandchildren; Codi (Niki), Bailey (Rob), Kristle, Kaycee and his best friend Ken. ‘‘On to your next adventure Dad’’.
