PORTRAITS Garder une trace, une trace d'un passé, trace d'un présent, trace d'une vie, une trace d'une personne que l'on a connue, que l'on connaît, garder une trace des gens qui nous entourent. Croiser des chemins, des regards, croiser des histoires. Et puis prendre le temps, le temps d'être avec l'autre, le temps de regarder, de l'apprécier, de l'écouter, de comprendre, et puis arrêter le temps. Le temps d'un instant, une fraction de seconde. Et puis ça reprend... Document d'une vie, de leur vie, peutêtre ma vie.

To cross paths, eyes, to cross stories. And then take the time, the time to be with each other, the time to look, appreciate, listen, understand, and then stop the time. For a moment, a split second. ANIMAL SIGHT Ton UNIVERS... "Animal Sight" a débuté en découvrant l'effet qu'un flash direct avait sur les yeux de mes animaux et a continué dans la confrontation directe avec les animaux, -des mammifères aux reptiles-, les amphibiens et les oiseaux, les poissons et les insectes. Pourrions-nous communiquer avec toutes sortes de créatures non humaines ? Pourrions-nous retranscrire leurs expériences sans nous être penchés sur leurs yeux ?

TES SOURCES D'INSPIRATION ? Ralph Eugene Meatyard et Sebastio Salgado pour leur photographie qui explore les thèmes universels de la dignité et de la spiritualité, l'artiste Nathan Fox pour son énergie et son expression surréaliste.
TES projets ? À côté d'"Animal Sight," je photographie beaucoup de modèles dans des situations surréalistes et je travaille également sur une série de jardins d'Asie appelés "Western Zen."
YOUR UNIVERSE... "Animal Sight" began when I saw the effect direct flash had on my pets' eyes and expanded into a more directly confrontational encounter with animals, from mammals to reptiles and amphibians and birds and fish and bugs. Could we feel communication with all kinds of non-human creatures? Could we relate to their experiences if we looked to their eyes?
YOUR SOURCES OF INSPIRATION ? Ralph Eugene Meatyard and Sebastio Salgado for their photography that explores universal themes of dignity and spirituality, artist Nathan Fox for his energy and surreal expression. YOU PROJECTS ? Besides "Animal Sight," I shoot a lot of models in surreal situations, also working on a series of Asian gardens called "Western Zen."

TES SOURCES D'INSPIRATION ? Des obsessions, des formes colorées, florales, végétales, des musiques entêtantes, impressionnistes, des souvenirs lointains, l’enfance, les gens, la ville, l’ailleurs.

TES projets ? Ajouter mouvement (mélange des couleurs, abstraction des formes) et créer des pistes sonores gravées sur les prochains vinyles. Je travaille aussi sur deux projets différents, l'un plus noir et blanc, sur la notion de traces, et l'autre superposant les images anciennes d’un monde parfait à une réalité autre.
YOUR UNIVERSE... Colour stains, smiles, a cloudy melody, a horizon to define, travels filled with patterns. YOUR SOURCES OF INSPIRATION ? Obsessions, coloured, floral and vegetal forms, haunting and impressionist musics, distant memories, childhood, people, the city, somewhere else.
YOU PROJECTS ? Bringing movement (colour mixing, form abstraction) and creating musical tracks engraved on the vinyls to come. I'm also working on two other different projects, one more black and white, on the idea of traces, and the other on the confrontation of a perfect world's old pictures and a different reality.

TES SOURCES D'INSPIRATION ? La série "Still, Life" a débuté en photographiant des espaces intérieurs avec simplement les traces laissées par leurs habitants. Lors d'une résidence photographique à Lugo Land (Lugo, Italie), le projet a commencé à prendre une autre forme. En immortalisant des intérieurs, dans des endroits où je ne parlais pas la langue, il s’est davantage orienté sur les objets et les espaces organisés que sur l'identité.

A TES projets ? L'idée de l'identité et de la représentation des objets m'a suivie dans mes projets. Actuellement, je m’intéresse à trouver et créer des natures mortes, qui révèlent une transformation du banal en quelque chose de plus fantastique.
YOUR UNIVERSE... My dog & my camera. YOUR SOURCES OF INSPIRATION ? The series “Still, Life” began by shooting home spaces with only the remnants of the inhabitants. During a photographic residency at Lugo Land (Lugo, Italy) the project began to take on other meanings. By shooting these home interiors, in a new location where I couldn’t speak the language, I found it became more about the objects and curated spaces as identity.
YOU PROJECTS ? The idea of identity and objects as representation has followed me into my current projects. Currently, I am interested in finding and creating still lives, which reveal a transformation of the mundane into something more fantastical.

TES SOURCES D'INSPIRATION ? Directeur artistique freelance, mes inspirations sont nombreuses et très variées. J'aime me nourrir de photographies, d'illustrations actuelles, de créations artistiques anciennes (mosaïques, tableaux, sculptures,…), de voyages et de rencontres.
TES projets ? Dès le début de mon aventure avec le festival de Dour, je n'ai pas souhaité faire de l'illustration académique, propre et trop finie. Cette décision

L n'est pas due au hasard : premièrement, le dessin académique m'ennuie et, faisant partie de l'équipe du Dour live festival, qui comporte 80% de photographes, je me devais d'apporter quelque chose de différent. J'ai donc souhaité exprimer des émotions, souligner des instants sans m'accrocher à une réalité déjà présente dans les photographies produites par le reste de l'équipe. Dour reste un véritable terrain d'expérimentations !
YOUR UNIVERSE... Too young to have one. YOUR SOURCES OF INSPIRATION ? As a freelance artistic director, my inspirations are numerous and varied. I like to nourish myself with photographs, contemporary illustrations, older artistic creations (mosaics, paintings, sculptures,…), travelling, and meeting people. YOU PROJECTS ? From the very beginning of my adventure at the Dour festival, I knew that I did not want to do illustrations that were academic, neat, and overly polished. That decision was not made at
random: first of all, academic drawing bores me and, as a member of the Dour live festival team, 80% of which was photographers, I took it upon myself to bring something unique to the table. I decided that I wanted to express emotions, to highlight snapshots in time, without clinging to a reality already present in the photos taken by the rest of the team. Dour was a real period of experimentation for me!

CHINA SONG Ton UNIVERS... J’étais à Shanghaï, la ville mondiale du 3e millénaire, et j’ai voulu poser un autre regard. Avec un iPhone équipé d’une application Lomo j’ai parcouru la ville et ses environs. Au départ ludique, cette démarche m’a véritablement surprise par le rendu que j’ai obtenu, un clin d’œil au Shanghaï des années 30. Ces photographies apportent à ma démarche globale une petite bulle esthétique et poétique inattendue. TES SOURCES D'INSPIRATION ? m’entoure. La photographie de rue me passionne. Néanmoins, et de plus en plus, je suis attirée par des situations, des visages dévoilant des émotions qui ne soient exacerbées par l’actualité. Le but étant toujours de montrer ce que l’œil ne voit pas.
TES projets ? Fin septembre j’expose au festival Barrobjectif une série sur les geishas - Regard de soie. Je prépare aussi une exposition qui sera présentée en Algérie, sur ma vision d’un retour au pays natal.
YOUR UNIVERSE... I was in Shanghai, international city of the third millennium, and I wanted to see things from a different perspective. So I wandered all over the city and its surroundings with an iPhone equipped with the Lomo app. Although it started out as just a fun little project, I was really surprised by how my photos turned out: an allusion to Shanghai in the 30s. These photos bring an unexpected aesthetic and poetic element to my general approach. YOUR SOURCES OF INSPIRATION ? I am a journalist at heart, an observer of the world around me. I find street photography fascinating.
Recently, however, I have taken more of an interest to situations and faces that reveal emotion without being exacerbated by the news. The goal still being to show what the eye does not see. YOU PROJECTS ? At the end of September, I’m exposing a series on geishas at the Barrobjectif festival entitled Regard de soie. I’m also preparing an exhibition that will be shown in Algeria, on my vision of a return to one’s native country.

Je vis dans une petite ville côtière, où j'ai la chance de pouvoir apprécier chaque jour la beauté des couchers de soleil sur l'océan, les dauphins et les oiseaux. De ces profondeurs bétonnées, de ces endroits fréquentés au quotidien, sans m’attarder, je remonte des images insoupçonnables. TES SOURCES D'INSPIRATION ? Les lieux ou endroits inintéressants pour la plupart des gens, l'architecture, le milieu urbain, le minimalisme, l'abstrait, des atmosphères, des ambiances...

Without dawdling, I emerge from that concrete abyss, visited day in and day out, with astonishing images. YOUR SOURCES OF INSPIRATION ? The places that most people find uninteresting: architecture, urban settings, minimalism, the abstract, atmospheres, moods...
YOU PROJECTS ? To continue working on this "Parkings" series, and then move on to other series that I would rather not reveal for the time being. To keep on exhibiting my work, and to surprise and amaze people by it.
