BURTON COLISEUM McNeese State plays its home games in Burton Coliseum, with a few played at the Lake Charles Civic Center. Last year a new maple wood floor was installed. It features the school logo and the Southland Conference logo as well as NBA goals. The project was a $150,000 undertaking.

Burton Coliseum opened for basketball games in the 1986-87 season with LSU serving as the first Cowboy opponent. The coliseum seats 8,000 for basketball and McNeese has consistently been among the leaders in attendance in the Southland Conference.
