Deciding on a university is one of the most exciting times in your life, and we are thrilled you are considering Pitt-Johnstown! The application process is simple, requiring only the following information: • Application for Admission • Official high school transcript(s) • Official SAT or ACT scores • Official college transcript(s), if applicable • Personal essays, recommendation letters, and an Admissions interview are strongly encouraged, but NOT required.

We operate on a rolling admission policy, which means there is no specific deadline to apply for admission, but it is to your advantage to plan ahead and apply early. This ensures you will receive the best chance at enrollment-capped programs and academic scholarships. The deadline to commit to PittJohnstown is May 1. Please contact the Admissions Welcome Center with questions or concerns throughout this process. We look forward to seeing you on campus!


We welcome international students to study at our wonderful campus. The Office of International Services at Pitt-Johnstown is dedicated to offering exceptional support to international students before and during their stay at the University. All international students must complete the International Admission Application and submit all following required documentation to the Admissions Welcome Center: • TOEFL IBT 80 or higher • or IELTS 6.5 or higher • SAT test score • High School Diploma (Official English translation required)
