NFA-GenSan assures stable supply of rice By Catherine T. Apelacio GENERAL SANTOS CITY -- The National Food Authority (NFA)-GenSan assured the public today that there is no shortage of NFA rice in all its accredited retail outlets in the city and in neighboring Sarangani province. This assurance came in anticipation of the rainy season, and that the rice stock may come “lean” as June to August is planting season in the Philippines. Rainy season, according to Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has already begun early last week.
