BEST BEFORE James Kendall’s 90-year-old grandmother-in-law, having lived through WWII, doesn’t believe in best-before dates. Sadly she had to move into a home, but clearing out her larder was as thrilling as being offered a snack. All the products shown were, he believes, intended to be eaten.

BORDER WORK: NOGALES

Border Work focuses on a bus station in Nogales, a town on the Mexico border that receives thousands of people who have been deported from the USA. The work explores this space of permanent transience. Everyone is waiting to leave, but nothing happens quickly here.
