lion nathan It is not just about making beer but brewing exciting and great tasting lager. Lion Nathan has a strong brewing history that dates back to the 1900s. It is currently a leading brewer, winemaker and marketer of alcoholic drinks in Australasia and the international markets. The company has its beginning as New Zealand Breweries in 1914 and by the 1980s has developed into one of New Zealand’s largest corporate companies. Lion Nathan crossed the Tasman to set up a major presence in Australia in 1990, when it took ownership of the Tooheys Brewery in Sydney and Castlemain Perkins in Brisbane.
