Snyder Avenue Riverfront Park As depicted, a riverfront park just north of the port provides an opportunity for a tidal wetland restoration project that connects to a stormwater management design helps combat a high level of impervious surface. The elevation of land below the 500-year flood plain between Washington and Snyder Avenues is a reminder of the historic creeks that crossed the riverfront neighborhood in the nineteenth Century.
