Someone who inspires you – Everyday I am inspired by the other parents who I meet through my business. Your favourite thing –That would have to be my original Bamboo Bubby himself, now aged 2.5 years, who is definitely my most favourite thing in the world! A place you love to go on holidays – Anywhere warmer than South Australia, but especially Darwin, NT for its relaxed atmosphere. The album you're listening to at the moment – “Chapter 14: Mortality” by local musician Toby Goels (I love music like this for the ears, heart and soul). What do you love most about being a mumpreneur Being able to help others with a solution and support through an exhausting, upsetting and quite isolating time is what I love most. What was the most exciting thing about winning the awards – Winning the Favourite Product Award has generated some fantastic publicity and helped to spread the word of its benefits. What's your favourite movie & why – ‘My Sister’s Keeper’ it’s a great reminder about what is truly important in life and to treasure every moment with my child, because for too many people this precious time is unfairly cut too short. What's your favourite book & why- my current favourite is ‘The $100 Startup: Reinvent the Way You Make a Living, Do What You Love, and Create a New Future’ by Chris Guillebeau. What's the one piece of advice you would give to other mums starting out in business – If you have an idea, the determination and the drive - JUST DO IT, even if it at times seems daunting and overwhelming. Perseverance and persistence pays off, all you need to do is one thing every day - a year later you will be amazed with the journey!
