In the serial communications program on the PC, click OK or press {}. The PC will send the selected jobs to the SRX. The SRX will display a screen that shows how many records were received, while the communications program will indicate the file’s transfer progress.

When the transfer completes, click OK in the communications program and press {ESC} on the SRX.
Assessing transmission problems When transmitting data, the SRX responds to both hardware and software flow control. The receiving computer may periodically use either or both of these techniques. You may see either the Xon/Xoff Detected (software control) or CTS/RTS Detected (hardware control) messages appear on the SRX's display. If these messages do not disappear within a few seconds, the receiving computer may have stopped transmitting.
