Other activities that can be enjoyed at the bowling club include darts, pool and quoits. Premises available for hire, contact the club for further details. Cunnamulla Fella Bowls Carnival is held annually last week in August. Wheelchair friendly.

Membership: $25 per person, this runs from January to December and includes admission to the four race meetings held over the year. Requirements: Anybody can become a member. You are not required to participate in the running of the race club if you do not wish to do so! Events: Cunnamulla’s main race day is the Anzac Day Races held on 25th April every year. Race meetings are also held in June, late July and September or early October. Trackside bookies will take your bet on the day and you can even place bets on horses in Sydney and Melbourne if you wish. There are bar and canteen facilities and at some meetings “fashions on the field” competitions are held.

Membership: $20 for a family, $10 for a single. Membership runs from May until the end of April and includes your admission to the Cunnamulla Show. The show is held annually in May. See calendar of events for details. Events: Fundraising events and meetings of the different departments are held throughout the year. The annual Show is held on the last weekend of May. It is an exciting weekend with plenty to do, there are many displays and subsections within the show society. These include sheep and wool, horticulture, cattle, school work, handicrafts, cooking, artwork and produce just to name a few. Some other exciting events held at the Show include the Ute Show, shearing, dog jump, horse events, motorbike gymkhana, pet parade and the Miss Showgirl and Show Princess competition. Everyone is invited to become a member of the Show Society. We are always on the lookout for new members and contributors to the Show. It’s a great day out and a good chance to catch up with the community. Bar and canteen facilities available all day and the evening features an auction of the produce as well as night time entertainment. An excellent day out and fun for all the family!

The Cunnamulla and District Youth Club is a family oriented club that offers the entire community the opportunity to lead a fit and healthy lifestyle through participation in a range of sports all year round at an extremely low cost. The club welcomes all ages and fitness levels to join in the activities. At different times of the year the club travels to competitions in other locations from St George through to Mooloolaba and are always looking for interested competitors. If you would like to take part but do not have the necessary equipment, our club organisers will make arrangements for you to participate with loan equipment. The Cunnamulla and District Youth Club provides stiff competition, however prides itself on having fun with the whole family in a social environment. Membership: $120 for a 12 month full membership starting from 1 January. It includes personal insurance and you can participate in all competitions. $64 for part time membership. $34 for junior membership (under 18) $30 for social membership $5 for 9 holes of golf, this is a non-members green fee, people are welcome to play at any time, however the club is unattended unless on a regular golf day. Requirements: For full time players you must have your own clubs, however some equipment is available for hire with prior notice. Playing Dates The main competition day is on a Sunday. Fun days are held on Saturdays throughout the year. Special Events The first weekend in August, the Holden Scramble will be held on the Saturday and the Club Open Day on the Sunday.
