Kate Induni 19, Junior, Early Childhood Education Kate is a native of Bayou Gauche and graduated from Hahnville High School. She is a member of Kappa Delta Pi. Her dream would be to drive in a hot pink Hummer blaring Maroon Five on the radio. Kate’s favorite candy is Sour Gummy Worms, and her favorite movie is White House Down. Her philosophy on life is “The biggest risk in life is not taking any experience life has to offer.” Terri’Ance Johnson 20, Sophomore, Criminal Justice Terri’Ance grew up in New Orleans and graduated from Oliver Perry Walker High School. She is actively involved in many organizations on campus, such as Alpha Psi Omega, NAACP, and Criminal Justice Association. Terri’Ance’s favorite artist is India Arie, and her favorite food is seafood. She believes that in life “You only have one life, so live it up.” Will’Nesha Johson 18, Sophomore, Psychology Will’Nesha is from Hammond and is a graduate of Independence High School. She enjoys reading, sleeping, cooking and watching American Gangster. Her favorite food is hot wings, and her dream car is Lexus. She also loves to eat her favorite candy, Snickers. Will’Nesha’s chose Southeastern because of the great scholarships offered. Bethany Leach 21, Junior, Art History Bethany is a graduate of John Curtis Christian High School and is from Kenner. She loves the movie Pitch Perfect, and her favorite food is sushi. Bethany is a member of Tri-Sigma Sorority. Bethany also enjoys listening to Blake Shelton while eating her favorite candy, chocolate. Her favorite quote is: “There are so many beautiful reasons to be happy”- Unknown. Randi Olivier 20, Sophomore, Health Education and Promotion Randi is a native of Houma and a graduate of Pope HL Bourgeois High School. She is a member of Phi Mu Fraternity, Student Government Association, and she is a DSA Leadership Ambassador. Her favorite movie is Legally Blonde, and her favorite candy is Twizzlers. Randi chose Southeastern because it offered the major she wanted, and she really liked orientation. Raven Price 18, Freshman, Nursing Raven graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy and grew up in Baton Rouge. Her favorite movies are The Hangover and Mean Girls, and she loves to dance! Raven is a member of Alpha Psi Omega. Her favorite food is french fries and she loves Gummy Worms. Raven says that in life “Home is where the heart is.” Casey Richardson 19, Sophomore, Nursing Casey is a graduate of Chapelle High School and is from Harahan. She is a member of Sigma Alpha Pi National Society for Leadership and Success. Casey enjoys watching any Disney movie, and she loves listening to her favorite band A Day to Remember. Her favorite candy is Sour Patch Kids. Casey believes “You don’t get what you want, but what you need.” Nicholas Smith 22, Junior, Music Education Nicholas is a native of Ponchatoula and graduated from Ponchatoula High School. He enjoys singing and dancing. Nicholas is a member of Delta Omicron. His favorite candy is Gummy Worms, and his favorite food is pizza. Nicholas chose Southeastern because of the music program offered. Donovan Thierry 19, Sophomore, Psychology Donovan grew up in Lake Charles and graduated from Alfred M. Barbe High School. He is actively involved in many organizations, such as Black Student Union, NAACP, and From Start 2 Finish. You may catch Donovan watching his favorite movie, Secret Life of Bees, while eating his favorite candy Sourpatch Watermelons. He believes that in life “Reach for the moon and if you fall you will land in the stars!.” Myranda Triche 18, Freshman, Elementary Education Myranda is from LaPlace and is a graduate of East St. John High School. She enjoys trying to sing and joy riding to nowhere. Her favorite movie is Sister Act 1 and 2, and you may catch her eating her favorite candy, Reisen, while watching it. Myranda is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Myranda’s favorite quote is from Dolly Parton: “In order to see the rainbow, you must put up with the rain.” Sylvia Onyeagusi 24, Junior, Nursing Sylvia is from Lagus, Nigeria, and graduated from Redeman’s International Secondary School. She enjoys gumbo from America and plantains from Nigeria. Her favorite candy is Twix. If Sylvia isn’t watching one of her favorite movies, Titanic, you will most likely find her singing or watching movies. Sylvia’s favorite quote is: “Commitment is sticking to what you said long after the feelings when you said it left.” 3
