Vincent O’Neill

(Valmont) Actor, director, mime artist and teacher, Vincent O'Neili is a graduate of University College, Dublin, the city of his birth. He trained at the ceiebrated Abbey Theatre Schooi and subsequentiy at Marcel Marceau's International Mime Schooi in Paris. As a member of the Abbey Theatre Company for five years, he toured throughout the world. Mr. O’Neill is co-founder and artistic director of the Irish Classical Theatre Company in Buffalo, New York, now concluding its 6th season. His numerous acting roles for the Irish Classical Theatre Company include Joyicity, his one-man show on James Joyce which has won him acclaim all over the world. Since relocating to Buffalo in 1990, he has worked both as an actor and director in most of the other Western New York theatres. A member of the SUNY Buffalo Department of Theatre and Dance faculty, he and his wife, actress Josephine Hogan, make their home in Buffalo with their two children.

Karen fladcliffe

(La Marquise de Merteuil) has had an extensive career in theatre, TV and film. Television credits include: Dallas, LA Law, The Trials of Rosie O'Neill and several movies of the week. Film credits include: When the Bough Breaks with Ally Walker and Martin Sheen, Robocop, DOA with Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan, and the The Lone Star Kid with James Earl Jones. Karen has done numerous stage productions including the American premiere of Dog Days by Simon Gray in which she originated the role of Hilary for American audiences. She has recently done a staged reading of Carter Lewis’ new play. The One-Eyed Man is King at the GeVa Theatre in New York. Karen lives and works in Los Angeles. Karen’s appearance is made possible in part by the Joanne VanSant Fund, part of the Theatre Endowment.

Linda Dorff

(Mme de Rosemonde) has performed more than 16 leading roles with the Contemporary American Theatre Company (CATCO) since 1987, most recently in last season’s Three Viewings. A 12-year veteran of Players Theatre, she won an unprecedented 15 Outstanding Performance awards. Favorite past roles include Abbie in Desire Under the Eims, Gooch in Marne, Lucy in Sweeney Todd, Charlotte in Beyond Therapy and Big Mama in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. She is happy to work with Dennis again; he first directed her in CATCO's 1993 production of Homeward Bound. In January, Linda will star in The Gin Game at CATCO.

Dennis Romer

(Director) is a current member of Actor's Equity Association, Screen Actors Guild, and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. He has worked as a stage actor and director in over 100 productions nationwide including the Parker Playhouse, Kennedy Center, Cleveland Playhouse, Clarence Brown Theatre, Kenley Players, Meadowbrook Theatre, Raft Theatre and Ensemble Studio Theatre in New York City and Los Angeles. He has worked in many guest starring roles in prime time television, created four contract roles on soap operas, and has been seen in over 50 commercials.

Rob Johnson

(Scenic Design and Lighting Design) is our resident scenic designer in his ninth year at Otterbein College. Some of Rob’s past set designs include Cabaret, Hamlet, To Kill A Mockingbird, Six Degrees of Separation, True Wesf and Pippin. Recent lighting designs include A Chorus Line at Otterbein, Table Manners at CATCO, and Artscape, a festival of performing arts at The Capitol Theatre in Columbus. To date, he has designed over 100 productions. Rob continues to be at the forefront of computer-aided design and animation. He is currently doing freelance work in computer graphics, animation, and web design and teaches courses at Otterbein in the use of that technology. Rob would like to dedicate his work in memory of his father.

Wendy Goldstein

(Costume Designer) has been designing costumes in the Columbus area for over 20 years. Wendy began in community theatre at Gallery Players designing shows such as Spoon River Anthology, No, No Nannette, Fiddler on the Roof Blithe Spirit and The Rothchilds. She opened Costume Specialists Inc. in 1982 and has continued to design high school, community, college, and professional theatre productions with her staff. Other credits include productions for Columbus Light Opera such as The Mikado, Pirates of Penzance, and A Little Night Music. In her spare time she enjoys her two children.

Marci Hain

(Costume Shop Supervisor) graduated with a BS in Home Economics from OSD in 1977. After many years in commercial business costuming, Marci joined the Otterbein Tech team in 1989. Since then, she has run the Costume Shop full time, and has designed Night Watch, Sherlock’s Last Case, and A Few Good Men. She also served as Assistant Designer on Phantom. Other credits include: Harrigan & Hart (Players Theatre), Salome (Opera/Columbus), Camelot (Maine State Music Theatre), as well as various high school and community theatre shows around the state.

Tricia Collins

(Maid) is a junior BA major from Gahanna, Ohio. She is pleased to join OST for a second summer as the maid and as Lady Larkin in Mattress. She’d like to thank her family, friends, and Tim “Stop, Drop and Roll” Cryer for all their support.

(Major Domo) is a recent graduate from Hollywood, Rorida. He appeared last summer in Charley’s Aunt and in Blad< Coffee. (Azolan) is a recent graduate of Otterbein College. Adam felt “what better way to celebrate than to stay and work the summer.” Next year, he will be a member of Columbus Junior Theatre’s Troupe. He eventually plans on moving to New York City but for now is happy right where he is. (Mme De Tourve!) is a senior BFA Acting major from Toledo, Ohio. I would like to dedicate my performance to all the ‘97 graduates that have made my life exciting for the past 3 years and of course Mom, Dad, Sarah, Kurt, Suzanne, Aunt Nancey, Chris, Angie and the incredible Box Office staff featuring Brian the Box Office Boy!!! (Emilie) is a recent graduate with a BA in Theatre Performance from Upper Arlington, Ohio. She is a member of the company and looking forward to two more productions before heading to Chicago next Spring. Thank God, my Family (for helping me graduate) and Nathan for being supportive.

(Cecile Volanges) is junior BFA Acting major from Carrollton, Texas. Kelly is very excited to be playing her first “grown-up" show at Otterbein. She would like to thank her parents for their never ending support and Grandma for travelling such a long way. And Marc, I love you. Close your eyes.

Christopher Sloan

(Footman) is a junior BFA Musical Theatre major from New Haven, Indiana. This year, Chris was Mr. Toad in Wind in the Wiliows, Freddy in Noises Off, and the Gorilla/Sailor in Cabaret He would like to thank his parents for his sanity, his Grandparents for his love of Fairy Tales, and to Thelma: Louise loves you baby!

Shad Swinehart

(Danceny) is a junior BFA Musical Theatre major from Gahanna, Ohio. I would like to thank my family, friends, and Pi Sig. Shad was last seen in Cabaret

Marianne Timmons (Mme de Volanges) is a senior BFA Musical Theatre major from Upper Arlington, Ohio. She was last seen as Fraulein Kost in Cabaret She has also been in To Kiil a Mockingbird, The World Goes ‘Round, Educating Rita, Phantom, A Chorus Line and Sweet Charity. Next year, Marianne looks forward to 1776 and her internship in Chicago. Thanks to the family. Josh and SDS! Nathan Weaver

(Footman) is a junior BA Acting major from Columbus, Ohio. You may have seen Nathan in such shows as A Few Good Men, Robin Hood, To Kiil a Mockingbird and just recently in Marcus is Waikin0 Look forward to seeing this versatile actor in Once Upon a Mattress, Ten Little Indians and 1776.

Kathy Bogdewiecz

(Technical Assistant) is a senior BA Theatre major from Columbus, Ohio. To all my wonderful fellow theatre classmates, thank you for touching my life in such a special way! I am very excited to be doing Otterbein Summer Theatre. To “learn" all summer in my favorite place - the theatre - Work! Work! Fun! Fun! A great big thanks to George (my Hubby) and daughters Amber, Beth, Taryn. There are other special friends to thank too - you know who you are! Lova Ya!

Krisdee Bires

(Properties Designer) is a senior BFA Design Tech major from Hiiliard, Ohio. Krisdee has wolfed props for six Otterbein shows, and has been props master for two productions at CATCO. This is her first time doing Otterbein Summer Theatre.

Josh Gilliam

(Technica! Assistant) is a junior BFA Musical Theatre major from St. Marys, Ohio. Josh has lost his mind and enlisted as a technician for most of the summer. He has been a part of 6 Mainstage productions, including Phantom and Cabaret Josh is also a member of Opus Zero and Concert Choir.

Amy Kaufman

(Master Painter) is a senior BFA Design Tech major from Westerville, Ohio. I will be painting for all three summer shows. I would like to thank my friends, my family, and my God for their faithfulness in supporting and encouraging me.

Sherri Nierman

(Stage Manager) is a recent graduate from Chandler, Arizona. Sherri is happy to be working with OST for the second season. Last season she was seen stage managing Black Coffee. Her other credits include working with Chapman University, Shakespeare Orange County, The Denver Center Theatre Company, and Otterbein College where she most recently stage managed Cabaret She would like to thank her family, friends and most of all Jeff for their love and support.

Seth Reinick

(Master Electrician) interned last August as an Electrician with the Goodspeed Opera House working on Paper Moon, the 20th Anniversary of Annie and the new Alan Ayckbourn/Andrew Lloyd-Webber musical. By Jeeves! In January he returned to the VA Beach area and worked as a carpenter for Virginia Stage Company’s Terra Nova. Following that occured a short stint as Assistant Artistic Director for New Dominion Pictures and Technical Director/Production Designer for Dominion Theatre productions of Schoolhouse Rock Live and Godspeil.

Angela Walters

(Wardrobe Master) is a senior BFA Design Tech major from Brookville, Ohio. Love and thanks as always to Mom, Dad, Bill, Annissa and Renee. Love to the new Walters coming soon to theatres.

Sheryl Warren

(Lightboard Operator) is a sophomore BFA Design Tech major from Silver Spring, Maryland. She has worked on all of the shows at Otterbein this past year, putting the most time into Hamlet as Assistant Lighting Designer. She is enjoying herself immensely this summer, but sends her love home to Maryland and her family, Amanda, Markie and Josh.

Lora Winship

(Technical Apprentice) is a sophomore BFA Design Tech major from Gahanna, Ohio. Lora worked on all the shows this previous year. Lora is having fun working summer stock. She would like to thank her friends and family.

Jonathan Worful

(Sound Technician) is from Murray, Kentucky. Jonathan's work includes helping build sets for Bye Bye Birdie, Hansel and Gretel and a touring set for Alice in Wonderland, all of which were performed in his hometown's theatre. Playhouse in the Park. He has also run lights and sound for such productions as Play It Again, Sam, Barefoot in the Park, and A Christmas Carol.
