DIRECTORS CORNER

ALL OVER TOWN

As we conclude our 14th season I would like to express appreciation to our au diences and PATRONS for their participation, to numerous individuals and businesses who loaned props, furniture & costumes, and a very special thanks to our staff and company for seven outstanding weeks of theatrical experiences. This summer of 1980 has been clouded by multiple problems and pressures affect ing our American public. Pressures of unemployment, inflation, fuel crises, American hostages abroad, civil unrest, and impending military conflicts overseas have brought the American spirit to a low ebb at the outset of a new decade. The theatre is not a panacea, yet can serve as both an uplifting and enlightening experience for all. It was wonderful to see you all back with us this summer - let’s not stop thinking about tomorrow! Thank You, CARTER W. LEWIS & THE O.S.T. COMPANY
