Congratulations to Our Graduates! The College of Dentistry’s convocation ceremony is held in June each year at the Mershon Auditorium on Ohio State’s campus. The traditional ceremony honors the achievements of the Dental Hygiene and the Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) classes with awards presentations, a hooding ceremony, and the announcement of student honors.

The graduating class of 2008 included 102 D.D.S. students and 31 dental hygiene students. From the class of 2009, there were 97 D.D.S. graduates, 32 dental hygiene program graduates, and three Doctor of Philosophy in Oral Biology graduates, all of whom were congratulated by dentistry’s Dean Carole Anderson and other faculty members who wished them happiness and success as dental professionals embarking on their new careers. n
