FAITH: AN ENDOWMENT FOR ORTHODOXY & HELLENISM In 2011, Faith: An Endowment for Orthodoxy and Hellenism, continued to underwrite several programs to preserve and promote Orthodoxy and Hellenism to young people. In 2011, through the Birthright Hellas Program, Faith sponsored 54 financial aid scholarships for young people to travel to Greece through the Ionian Village program to learn more about their heritage by exploring the ancient sites, monasteries, and cultural institutions. Additionally, FAITH continued its support of the FAITH Scholarships for Academic Excellence and also scholarship awards to the winners of

the St. John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival to be contributed towards their college tuition. In 2011, FAITH partnered with the Fulbright Foundation of Greece to support relevant graduate and professional research scholarships in academia. FAITH also continued to promote curriculum enrichment programs by underwriting the production and distribution of DVD’s, new language textbooks, Ta Ellinika Mou, and youth Bibles for young children studying the Greek Language and culture in classrooms throughout the Archdiocese.
