Resort Rules & Policies

Preferred RV Resort is a member-owned park, and our members take great pride in the appearance and upkeep of the property. For more information, including the details of membership, please visit preferredrv.com. Check out the weekly activity sheet for information on meals, group activities, games, propane dispensing hours, etc.

CHECK-OUT TIME is 11:00 am.

AT YOUR SITE …

• Vehicles must be properly parked at the site, and should be limited to one RV and no more than two cars/trucks. Please do not park any of the vehicles on the concrete pad. For the 100-300 Rows, the back of your RV must be even with or past the electric box. If it is not parked reasonably close, you may be asked to move it.

• Cabinets, boxes, crates, totes, trash cans and the like are not allowed to be stored outside your RV.

• Gazebos, pop-up shades, and any other structures are not permitted on the sites. Attached awnings cannot be fully enclosed, and only the long-side wall is permitted.

• Wood fires are not allowed, even for cooking. Only charcoal and propane fires are permissible.

• External, free-standing propane tanks must be well-secured in an upright position.

• No clothing can be hung outside for drying, including on clotheslines or anything similar. Wet swimsuits and towels are okay until dry.

• Trash removal is your responsibility. Dumpsters are located throughout the Resort.

• No tents or outside sleeping.

YOUR RV / OTHER VEHICLES …

• You must have liability insurance coverage on the RV, and you may be asked to provide evidence of the same.

• Cargo trailers and trucks of any kind may be kept on your site, but no longer than 35 days twice a year, non-consecutively.

• Only minor maintenance work on RVs and other vehicles will be permitted.

• A water pressure regulator is recommended.

WHILE ON PROPERTY…

• Please observe the posted speed limit of 5 MPH at ALL times, and please remind your guests to do the same. Second infractions may result in a monetary fine.

• If you see something in need of cleaning or repair, please help us continue to look our best, and report it to the front gate or office.

• Parents or guardians are responsible for their children’s supervision and conduct at all times.

FOR THE ENJOYMENT OF YOU AND YOUR GUESTS …

• All guests using the common area facilities, such as the pool, clubhouse, etc., must be registered at the front gate, and the daily fee paid. Whenever possible, please notify the front gate of any expected guests to facilitate their entry.

• Organized group events of ten people or more, such as at the pool or in the clubhouse, require advance approval from the office, and the payment of a deposit and applicable fees.

Park Quiet Hours 10pm - 7am • No smoking within 15 feet of Resort building entrances.

The Management and Staff are pleased to have you with us, and as you can see, there’s plenty to do! When visiting the recommended businesses in this Visitor’s Guide, please let them know you are staying at PREFERRED RV RESORT.

Pool & Spa Guidelines

• The pool and spa are subject to age restrictions. Inquire at the Front Gate or Office for details.

• Everyone is required to shower before using swimming pool or spa.

• Everyone, regardless of age, must wear proper swimming attire in the pool and spa. Diapers are not allowed in the pool.

• Diving or jumping is not permitted. Obey the signs posted in the pool and spa area.

• No glass containers will be used near the pool or spa area.

• Pool may be closed during inclement weather. The Resort has the authority to close the pool or other facilities due to adverse weather or other difficult conditions.

• An ADA compliant pool lift is available poolside. Please contact the office or front gate if you need assistance.

Pet Guidelines

We welcome pets to Preferred RV, but we do have guidelines. If you have brought a pet, please read the following carefully. Thanks!

• Small areas of portable pet fencing are permissible outside the RV when the pet is closely attended. Inquire about the exact rules.

• Pets are not permitted on the grassy areas of the Resort.

• All pet waste must be picked up and disposed of immediately. Check your Resort map for locations of the dog runs.

• Pets will be kept leashed at all times. Whether on a leash or inside pet fencing, someone responsible must be outside with the pet at all times.

• Pets are not permitted in restrooms, pool areas, clubhouse or any Resort facilities.

• Pet noise must be kept under reasonable control at all times.
