TO VALLECITO

( s ee i n s et b el o w )

1875 County Road 500, at Vallecito Lake • 1-970-884-2641 When you pass the dam, you will be traveling north on CR 501 along the west side of the lake. CR 500 is about a mile after you pass Virginia’s Steak House and The Vallecito Country Market. When the road starts to curve around to the right or east, CR 500 will be a left hand turn. We have signs posted on the right but due to the curve, many people miss the turn. If you see “The Valley of the Spruce”, you have missed the turn. ✱ Watch for the following landmarks which are at this turn. 1. Brown National Forest information sign (on the right side of the road.) 2. Attractive cedar building with “Wits’ End Ranch” sign (on the left side of the road). Once you are on CR 500 it will be 2 miles on the left side of the road.

If your puppy does his business in a place where people stroll, then for the sake of all of us, picking it up should be your goal. If it’s beneath your dignity to stop and scoop it up, then maybe in reality you shouldn’t own a pup! Pet bag dispensers are located through out the park.
