Remove the combination switch assembly from the steering column shaft by removing the screw (C) on the top of the combination switch. SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations (see page 23-13) and precautions and procedures (see page 23-14) in the SRS section before performing repairs or service. 6. Insert the ignition key, and check for proper operation of the steering wheel lock and that the ignition key turns freely.
