IN THE WILD The “adventurous” reception setting, as the bride describes it, featured an aquarium and a wave wall. Zoo animals, including a baby alligator and a bird, and zookeepers “mingled” with the guests. “It was a wonderfully unique experience,” Jenny says, especially for the pint-sized guests. THE OTHER ‘MAN’ IN HER LIFE was an important part of the proposal and wedding day. Baxter, the couple’s beloved dog, greeted Jenny with an engagement ring hanging from a bow tie on his neck the night Ryan proposed, and he wore a tux on the couple’s wedding day. “He is a very special part of us, and we wanted to have him be a part of our day,” Jenny says. SPECIAL SURPRISE The diamond in the necklace that Jenny wore on her wedding day came from her grandmother’s wedding ring. Jenny’s mother had the necklace made as a surprise. SWEET WORDS The priest read letters at the ceremony that the bride and groom wrote to one another. “It was memorable to hear each other’s letters for the first time,” the bride says. “Everyone commented on how it brought tears to their eyes. They really enjoyed them.”
