On this day, the Holy Father, Pope Francis, will inaugurate the Jubilee Year of Mercy and open the Holy Door of Mercy in the Basilica of St. Peter in the Vatican. The Holy Father is asking that, in every diocese, there also be a celebration of the Rite of Opening of the Holy Door in unity with the Universal Church, so that all can participate and obtain the indulgences promised in this Jubilee Year. St. Mary’s Cathedral will open the Holy Door on Sunday, 13 December at the 10:30 a.m. Mass. All are cordially invited to celebrate and take advantage of this extraordinary Year of Mercy.

Holy Innocents Candlelight Vigil

Monday, December 28, 2015 from 7:00 pm. until 8:00 pm in front of Kingston General Hospital. At this time, during the Christmas Season, we remember the Holy Innocents, the babies who were killed by Herod seeking the Christ Child. We will gather to pray for our “innocents”, the more than 35,000 babies killed at KGH by the sin of abortion. Please join us at 6:45 p.m. on the hill across from KGH (Stuart St.) for prayers and hymns. Please bring your own candle in a glass jar (flashlight for children)-we will have some on hand too.

A sincere thank you for your support for our Coins for Life and Christmas Cake fundraisers. Your financial support and most importantly your prayers fuels our pro-life efforts. For the more information call Campaign Life Coalition at 613-389-4472 or 613-382-1084.
