The Covenant Society Many alumni and friends of Belmont have chosen to support the University through planned gifts. Those who do so automatically become members of the Belmont University Covenant Society, which honors and thanks those alumni and friends who have made provisions for Belmont in their estate plans. Planned gifts come in many forms, including life income gifts whereby the donor transfers to Belmont an asset and retains an income for life; trusts that may permit donors to save on income, gift and estate taxes while providing for their families and Belmont; life insurance or retirement funds no longer needed; and, most importantly and simply, remembering Belmont in your will. We are forever grateful to all Covenant Society members for their continuing support of this great university and the students, faculty and staff who benefit from their generosity. To explore how you may include Belmont in your estate plans, please contact Belmont’s Director of Planned Giving Vicky Tarleton at (615) 460-6001.
