Mini chefs in action Do you have a mini masterchef in the making? Sheridan Rogers (www.sheridanrogers.com.au), author of Mini Chef – Cooking with Kids doesn’t do restaurantstyle food, although she says a few of her students have done so well they were in the finals for the juggernaut that was Junior MasterChef. Sheridan’s cooking classes, which are conducted in her private residence in North Sydney, aim to teach children to prepare wholesome, nutritious meals which they love to eat and can reproduce easily at home. She also takes the children into her kitchen garden to pluck vegetables and herbs for dishes they will learn to cook from scratch. The classes are aimed at children aged from 8 to 12 and 10 to 14.
