ekiya’s Restaurant and Delicatessen has been serving up local favorites to hungry diners for the past 75 years. With a loyal following that spans generations, this Kaimuki eatery is known for its famed saimin (with its broth made from scratch) and other tasty items such as barbecue sticks and hamburgers. Located at 2746 Kaimuki Ave., Sekiya’s is open Sunday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 9:45 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Call 732.1656.
