Inspiration can come from many places and things. What inspires you? This past month I was inspired by a couple of crows chattering away with each other, reminding me that we all need someone to talk to once in a while. This month, probably more than others, most single people wish for a companion to share not only conversations with but also the physical touch of a hug, holding hands and just being able to share life with. I was also inspired by a 105 year old beauty. Featured on the news, when she blew out the candles on her cake she was asked what she wished for. Her wish was to travel back home to Scotland on last time this coming year. While making it to 105 is inspiring in and of itself what really inspired me was that in her 100th year she did the journey to Scotland all by herself. A reminder that we should live life to the fullest, each and every day and year. To do what we love often and enjoy the passing years. To not think the number that determines how old we are in years for it is our hearts and minds that determine how old we are. American Idol started back up and I have been enjoying watching the auditions. One young fellow was born without ears. His parents were told that he would never hear, speak or be able to live a productive life as we need our ears for balance. In order for him to look more “normal”, at a young age they did the first of many surgeries to give him non functioning ears. Imagine the surprise of the doctors when they discovered he had ear channels. Fast forward many years and we have a young man who can not only hear, but sings like an angel. The music comes not from what he hears but from what he feels, and he even goes so far as to say he is divinely guided while singing. His message to all of us, no matter what anyone tells you, don't believe them! If you want to do something just go for it, you can make dreams come true. This month share with friends and loved ones, live each day to the fullest, and take steps towards accomplishing your dreams! Angels Blessings Marlene

St. Valentine's Story Let me introduce myself. My name is Valentine. I lived in Rome during the third century. That was long, long ago! At that time, Rome was ruled by an emperor named Claudius. I didn't like Emperor Claudius, and I wasn't the only one! A lot of people shared my feelings.

Claudius wanted to have a big army. He expected men to volunteer to join. Many men just did not want to fight in wars. They did not want to leave their wives and families. As you might have guessed, not many men signed up. This made Claudius furious. So what happened? He had a crazy idea. He thought that if men were not married, they would not mind joining the army. So Claudius decided not to allow any more m a r r ia g e s . Y oun g p e o p le thought his new law was cruel. I thought it was preposterous! I certainly wasn't going to support that law! Did I mention that I was a priest? One of my favorite activities was to marry couples. Even after Emperor Claudius passed his law, I kept on performing marriage ceremonies -- secretly, of course. It was really quite exciting. Imagine a small candlelit room with only the bride and groom and myself. We would whisper the words of the ceremony, listening all the while for the steps of soldiers. One night, we did hear footsteps. It was scary! Thank goodness the couple I was marrying escaped in time. I was caught. (Not quite as light on my feet as I used to be, I guess.) I was thrown in jail and told that my punishment was death.

notes up to my window. They wanted me to know that they, too, believed in love. One of these young people was the daughter of the prison guard. Her father allowed her to visit me in the cell. Sometimes we would sit and talk for hours. She helped me to keep my spirits up. She agreed that I did the right thing by ignoring the Emperor and going ahead with the secret marriages. On the day I was to die, I left my friend a little note thanking her for her friendship and loyalty. I signed it, "Love from your Valentine." I believe that note started the custom of exchanging love messages on Valentine's Day. It was written on the day I died, February 14, 269 A.D. Now, every year on this day, people remember. But most importantly, they think about love and friendship. And when they think of Emperor Claudius, they remember how he tried to stand in the way of love, and they laugh -- because they know that love can't be beaten!

And so the tradition started! From humble beginnings that are a fantastic part of history the world celebrates February 14th by exchanging cards, flowers, chocolates and other trinkets.

Valentines is second only to Christmas in regards to retail sales. 192 million Valentine’s Day cards are exchanged annually, making Valentine’s Day the second-most popular greeting-card-giving occasion. (This total excludes packaged kids valentines for classroom exchanges.) It is estimated that almost 10 million e-cards are sent each year.

I tried to stay cheerful. And do you know what? Wonderful things happened. Many young people came to the jail to visit me. They threw flowers and www.nourishyourbodymindsoul.com

Just Sayin’… Vera Enshaw their complete attention. It is easy, then, to get it all out and to figure out your next steps.

Listening is a skill that most of us generally do without. When was the last time YOU truly listened to someone who was speaking to you? We pay more attention to what’s on TV than we do to the person who is on the other side of the table! Why do we talk to other people? Have you ever felt as though it would probably feel better to talk to a post? A tree? We talk to be heard. There is something about speaking and being heard that allows us to finish whatever process started—either a thought or an experience. We need to feel as though our words have been heard. Otherwise we feel unfinished. I’ll bet you know at least one elderly person who tells the same story over and over again—someone who is otherwise really cognizant, not at all approaching senility. And yet….that person cannot let the story go. It is entirely possible that no one ever truly listened, and now the telling has become a habit. I am guilty of not hearing—way more often than I like to admit. Being female I have been well trained in the art of multi-tasking. Unfortunately the task that often gets lost is listening. I talk on the phone while I’m working on my computer/in my kitchen/walking—and I will suddenly realize that I haven’t heard a word the other person has been saying. I have fixed the glitch/done the tricky part of the meal/noticed the brilliant tree, but I haven’t been listening to my friend/lover/sister/co-worker. I am also guilty of listening for as long as it takes for me to jump in and relate my story that is like their story. See—it happened to me, too! And here is how I dealt with it. And you should deal with it the same way. The person who is speaking is not going to ever feel heard in this situation. You have probably been the person speaking, relating a stressful situation in your life. You need to talk to express the emotions that are a result of that situation. How very wonderful it would be to have a listener, someone who practices the art of hearing. As you speak, this person asks questions that help you to find clarity. Or they let you know they are listening by focusing on you, giving you www.nourishyourbodymindsoul.com

When I am on the other side of the table, not being listened to, I feel irritated. I can tell that the other person is focused on something else. By their response I know that they want to share their story, and listening to me is only a means to that end. I also feel sad. At one time in my life I felt so sad about not being heard that I quit talking about anything that mattered. In time I learned that the solution was worse than the problem! So...what to do? What do we do in order to be heard—and in order to become better listeners? Fortunately, we can do a lot! We can begin by being honest with our friends and by setting boundaries around speaking and listening. Around dialogue. We can let them know what we want from them, because they can’t know unless we tell them! Sometimes we want advice— other times we don’t. Sometimes we want to have a dialogue around a topic—other times we only want to rant. As a listener, we can ask at the start of a conversation—is this casual chit chat, and can I continue working while it’s happening—or do you need me to totally listen? That way you can also choose if this is an appropriate time for the conversation. We can discuss this issue with friends and family and let them know that we are going to call them on not listening, so that we can build stronger relationships. As a listener, we can be honest when we find our attention wandering and ask for a repeat of what has been said. (This might be the point at which you realize that timing is critical!) And…..you could start listening to yourself more often. Put down the book, turn off the TV/iPad/ iPhone/computer. Sit with yourself in silence and hear what you have to say. Allow all the thoughts to slide on through. Attach to them—or not. Follow the threads that take you into the warp and weave of who you truly are. Hear what you have to say. Because if you don’t...who will? Just sayin…………….

WHERE ARE YOU DEAR LOVER? By Jeannie Magenta When I’m living life to the fullest I don’t waste precious moments dwelling on what is lacking in my life. In fact the only time I miss you ”Dear Lover” is when life is going crappy and then I think wouldn’t love be nice right now. Only I know in my heart that the love of my life isn’t going to fix all my problems. Or wipe the slate clean off all things challenging. Nope not at all! Relationships take care, attention, understanding, and at times being the bigger person. The perks are pretty good too.

Let me begin by saying I am not qualified to give any sound dating advice due to the fact I have been out of the loop for a very long time. I only offer advice on what I actually practice on a daily basis! Now that is not to say that friends don’t lean on me with questions. What I intend to offer here is encouragement and support. Valentine’s day is coming around for another year and how many of you out there are feeling a little like curling up and hiding until it passes? So much so that blissful happy people actually make you a little nauseated with all their smooching and hugging. Well I have dated a tiny bit on and mostly off for the past ten years with nothing much past the 3 months. I have spent countless hours wondering what was wrong with me, was I too fat, successful, was I too needy, not needy enough, too out spoken, too bossy, not pretty enough, was it because I only wore make up when I felt like it? What? I don’t know! Here is what I know. Friends and strangers have showered me with compliments above and beyond any flaws I may have thought I had. People have written glowing notes gushing with kindness for no reason at all. They had no idea how I was feeling inside and yet along came the positive affirmations again and again to serve as reminders. The love of my life hasn’t arrived yet and I know with every ounce of my being that when I meet them, I know they will have been worth the wait. I don’t say this as some corny hopeless romantic. No not at all! I was married before for nine and a half years when I was very young. I lost me in the process and it has taken some time to get me back. Kind of like discovering me from scratch my likes, dislikes, goals, hopes and dreams. I can honestly say I feel like a very different person from ten years ago or even a year ago for that matter. Life events shape and sculpt our lives bringing us each to become more interesting and unique individuals. For a moment consider who you were ten years ago. Would you want to be that person on all levels right now? I don’t mean your waistline either folks. So when I ask the question “Dear Lover where are you?” I let it serve as a reminder to myself to remember to live life to the fullest. Works like a charm too I might add.

www.nourishyourbodymindsoul.com

What I learned about myself over the past ten years on the sidelines (yes that’s right folks I have been single for that long) is if I want to meet people I have to put myself out there. That means getting out of the house in the evening and being around people. Also putting myself out there and asking guys out for coffee or dinner or a walk at the beach. There are a million ways to meet people and I am sure that if we need ideas we could always Google it. If your stressing about being alone then there is a good chance you need to spend some time with yourself. How can I expect someone to be around me when I can’t stand to be alone with myself? For a few years I was terrified to even be in relationship because I thought it meant I would have to give up my freedom and free time. I now know it doesn’t have to be either however it will require discipline as self-care/freedom tend to be the first things we turf unconsciously. My point in all this rambling is if you haven’t dated in a while you’re not weird. There just hasn’t been anyone who has held your interest long enough to see it blossom and grow. Never settle for less because a part of you will be unhappy as a result and that will undermine everything you’re trying to build unless you can let it go real quick and early in the relationship. If you desire love, do what makes you happy and know that the right person will show up as a result of you enjoying life. You’re WORTH all the goodness in the world because you are amazing juts the way you are!

Dear Lover: Where ever you are I hope you are having an amazing time. I look forward to meeting you soon and enjoying listening to the tales of a life well lived. Until then I wish you peace, love, joy, laughter and adventure. I give thanks as you have given me this time to journey solo. On days when my heart is sad I yearn for you however most days my heart is filled with joy just knowing you are out there. I feel you close and know it won’t be long now until we are dancing together with joy in our hearts deeper than this lifetime can explain. Love Jeannie

READING REVIEW By Marlene Cobb Matrix Energetics is a book I reads about two years ago. I was in a book club at the time and this was the book for one of the months. Being a healer with my Master Reiki level it appealed to me. Richard takes us on a romp through quantum physics, creating reality and manifesting. It is a good, easy to read book that will have you laughing on more than one occasion. Richard tells the reader how he discovered Matrix Energetics and how to put it into practice for yourself. There is a large group of people worldwide who practice Matrix Energetics and each year courses are offered for certification. One of my friends fell in love with the modality. She has been practicing ME since that time. This year she will take level s one and two and incorporate it fully into her healing practice. Whether you are a healer or not this is one book worth a read! Book Description Publication Date: April 3, 2007 In 1997, Dr. Richard Bartlett experienced an event that would redirect the entire course of his life. He suddenly discovered that by lightly touching his clients while at the same time applying focused intent, he could restore them to a physically, mentally, and spiritually balanced state, instantly shifting misalignments that had plagued them for years. Most astonishing of all, he could teach anyone how to do this. Now, for millions of people looking for empowerment in an age of declining and impersonal healthcare, Dr. Bartlett shares this phenomenon in a book full of explosive potential. In Matrix Energetics, Dr. Bartlett builds upon his popular seminars to teach us how to access the discovery he has made -- a process that merges the science of subtle energy with our innate imaginations to produce measurable results. By applying forces known to modern physics, each of us can tap into states of healthy awareness from different moments -- in essence, travel in time -- and bring them into the present for immediate, profound results. As Dr. Bartlett clearly shows, this practice requires no special training, produces transformation in the blink of an eye, and is available to everyone who has a willingness to learn.

Currently I am reading “A Discovery of Witches”. This is a book that I have been attracted to since it first appeared on the market and in January needing something to read I decided to download on my iPhone. I am very glad I did! In my opinion this is a well wrote book filled with mystery, romance and a touch of the paranormal to intrigue my senses and keep me turning the pages. It is a well-researched book and is not a quick read for those of you who like to finish a book in a short period of time and move onto the next. There is a strong foundation that spans decades, and is slowly built upon so that you get not just a thin story about a vampire and witch falling in love, you get the history of what came before in both families before they met. The two main characters are both strong individuals, and while the female character seems to be the weaker of the two in the beginning it is quickly eluded to that she is not what she appears. Her character starts opening up to her powers and is a source to be reckoned with. If you have not read “A Discovery of Witches” I highly recommend it. Book Description Publication Date: February 8, 2011 A richly inventive novel about a centuries-old vampire, a spellbound witch, and the mysterious manuscript that draws them together. Deep in the stacks of Oxford's Bodleian Library, young scholar Diana Bishop unwittingly calls up a bewitched alchemical manuscript in the course of her research. Descended from an old and distinguished line of witches, Diana wants nothing to do with sorcery; so after a furtive glance and a few notes, she banishes the book to the stacks. But her discovery sets a fantastical underworld stirring, and a horde of daemons, witches, and vampires soon descends upon the library. Diana has stumbled upon a coveted treasure lost for centuries-and she is the only creature who can break its spell. Debut novelist Deborah Harkness has crafted a mesmerizing and addictive read, equal parts history and magic, romance and suspense. Diana is a bold heroine who meets her equal in vampire geneticist Matthew Clairmont, and gradually warms up to him as their alliance deepens into an intimacy that violates age-old taboos. This smart, sophisticated story

harks back to the novels of Anne Rice, but it is as contemporary and sensual as the "Twilight" series-with an extra serving of historical realism My next book that I am going to delve into is a new book by Paulo Coelho. I love his books and must admit that he is one author I don’t keep up with in terms of what he has coming out. I discover a new book by him always by accident or through others talking about it. Quite by coincidence or not (wink, wink) I was surfing the net and found he had a new book out. This book titled Aleph is about his personal journey into his reconnection with his faith. Paulo is a well-loved author who has given us some great spirituality based books. Such as, The Alchemist, The Zahir, Eleven

Minutes, Brida, The Witch of Portobello, and Veronika Decides to Die. Each book tells a story of the human

journey through life, not glossed over but rather speaking to the tough bits. In most of the reviews of Paulo Coelho’s works, people speak of relating to the story, gaining valuable insight into their lives from just from having read the book. The reviews for Aleph are rather a mixed bag, it seems that people either love it and give it 5 stars or they are left wanting and score it 2 stars. I plan on reading this book in the next month, and will let you all know what I thought of it in the next issue.

Book Description: Publication Date: September 27, 2011 Transform your life. Rewrite your destiny. In his most personal novel to date, internationally best -selling author Paulo Coelho returns with a remarkable journey of self-discovery. Like the main character in his much-beloved The Alchemist, Paulo is facing a grave crisis of faith. As he seeks a path of spiritual renewal and growth, he decides to begin again: to travel, to experiment, to reconnect with people and the landscapes around him. Setting off to Africa, and then to Europe and Asia via the Trans-Siberian Railway, he initiates a journey to revitalize his energy and passion. Even so, he never expects to meet Hilal. A gifted young violinist, she is the woman Paulo loved five hundred years before— and the woman he betrayed in an act of cowardice so far-reaching that it prevents him from finding real happiness in this life. Together they will initiate a mystical voyage through time and space, traveling a path that teaches love, forgiveness, and the courage to overcome life’s inevitable challenges. Beautiful and inspiring, Aleph invites us to consider the meaning of our own personal journeys: Are we where we want to be, doing what we want to do?

Our love is like the wind it blows soft against my soul like a million kisses from the angels and it envelopes me within it's wings and gives me lift to soar. Our love is like water gently caressing and lapping upon my soul ever ebbing and flowing all the while soothing me to grow some days ripples, some days calm but always sparkling with each dawn. Our love is like fire fiercely roaring as it cleanses my soul releasing emotions strongly clung to for so long then gently leaving glowing embers of reflection and beauty to remind me I am alive. Our love is like the earth strong and firm yet soft and pliable great mountains soar towards the sky great valleys take us towards the sea all in a dance to see what we can be. Our love is spirit gently spiraling towards the light ever moving upwards dancing joyously entwining with each laugh, pain, tear, and smile a gift to each of us, granted long ago a gift to the world so that others may grow.

POWER ANIMALS By Marlene Cobb

Has snake slithered into your life? Perhaps not but it did show up in a dream of a person close to me. While snake does not conjure up feelings of romance or love this is one powerful animal to have show up. When you think of snakes what is the first thing that comes to your mind? For me it was; medical symbol, shedding of skin and in some cases poisonous bites. Translated briefly by me what do you need to shed or get rid of, what or who is toxic in your life that you need to stay away from and healing from those toxins. I could have left it at that and carried on, yet snake kept creeping into my thoughts during the next week so I decided I should look a little deeper into its medicine. A few things jumped out at me while researching, the first being that snake symbolizes a transition in one’s life and that we should be on the lookout for new opportunities and changes. Ok, so we know that some/most changes usually just happen through no apparent thought of our own. Having the heads up to watch for a new opportunity is powerful, as it gives us the ultimate chance to initiate change that will be best for us. As I mentioned earlier snakes shed their skin. Depending on their age and what type of snake, shedding can range from 4 times a year when young to twice a year when they are older. Snakes shed because they outgrow their skin. This shedding is indicated by their eyes clouding over, giving them a trance like appearance. The process of shedding the old skin is not an easy task but once shed, the snake’s eyes clear up and they leave that place never to return. In thinking of how this relates to us, as humans we often change course in our life, new beliefs come as we gain wisdom. We are much the same; we go through a thought process (our version of a trance like state), and then we work towards our new goals and aspirations (shedding our old selves). Once complete, we move forward with new insight and clarity. The difference being that occasionally we step back into old patterns and perhaps the message here is to move forward and not look back, to break free.

ing. Have you noticed that the ancient symbol called the caduceus is made up of two snakes wrapped around a staff with a ball and wings at the top? The snakes represent the positive and negative (masculine and feminine) charges of kundalini (energy) as it moves through the chakras and around the spine (the staff) to the head where conscious perception (wisdom) occurs. Healing takes place on all levels when we are aware of what is going on within ourselves. By paying attention to what our bodies are telling us, we can get the proper care to heal. We should also make a note of how snake moves. It does not have legs but rather undulates along the ground. This does not make them slow as they can travel 3 - 5 miles an hour, but allows them to avoid many obstacles that other animals fall prey to, navigating changing terrains with stunning grace and ease. In other words snakes go with the flow ever adapting to what is in/on their path. Snake is wisdom expressed through healing. Snake energy is the energy of wholeness, cosmic consciousness, and the ability to experience anything willingly and without resistance. I also found this breakdown of how snake is characterized on the different levels: On a material level, it is vitality; on an emotional level, it is ambition and dreams; on a mental level, it is intellect and power; on a spiritual level, it is wisdom, understanding and wholeness.

Overall if snake slithers into our life we should be aware of what is going on around us. What changes need to take place so that we can be healthy, happy and balanced? What opportunities do we have to create a shift? Be it slight or major your creative forces are awakening and what better animal to have by your side than this protector, Guardian as you traverse what is ahead.

The snake represents powerful transformation and heal-

Runes

By Phil Nielsen

I just received a 25th anniversary edition of The Book of Runes by Ralph Blum along with a new set of Runes. He writes fairly straight forward so I will reference him as well as my other two authors. This month we will look at another type of casting, the Odinic Rune casting, where you draw one stone from your bag for an overview of an entire situation.

The stone I drew today is Gebo, the gift rune. Rather appropriate considering we are coming up to Valentine’s Day. This represents a rare complement, a sudden act of generosity, or even a significant personal sacrifice. Gebo is the force which links lovers, draws friends and binds partners. It signals the onset of good fortune and the blossoming of relationships. It calls for the exchange of gifts but be forewarned, you could be asked to make a sacrifice for another.

www.nourishyourbodymindsoul.com

This cast can be made daily or whenever you feel the need for guidance and you feel you don’t have enough information. This is not, and I repeat, not fortune telling but rather a way of showing you the path you are on at the time. It is inviting the mind to open to the intuitive inside of all of us. It invokes the wisdom of the Knowing Self. You may want to record these castings in a journal. Write down your reason for the cast, the stone drawn, a brief interpretation. Note the time, date, and what was occurring in your life at that time. Keeping a journal allows you to recognize your patterns as you become more skilled in the art of selfchange. If you are becoming interested in rune casting, please investigate many authors on the subject, as they will all have their own interpretations of the same cast, as will you as you work with your runes. You can also contact me thru the webpage and I will do my utmost to give you an answer, or at least, to steer you in the right direction.

ANGER By Marlene Cobb

Anger is one emotion we all have felt at some point in our lives. For some people this happens more often than for others. Anger can be a double edged sword. It can push us to make changes, or it can simmer buried deep within us festering all sorts of grief. Anger is almost always viewed as a negative emotion, one that people often push to the side quickly. For the most part pushing it to the side gives one time to breathe, the premise being that after a while we can look at it objectively and move past it. If however, you keep holding onto the experience reliving it over and over in your mind that is when trouble begins. Anger then has the opportunity to morph into resentment, which causes great turmoil. Resentment resides just below the surface of our awareness, smoldering, eroding our peace of mind. Resentment builds until we blame the person who caused the anger. It is their fault and placing blame eases our pain. Yes, even if the anger was triggered by waiting in a checkout line up, it becomes the store management’s fault for not having enough staff on hand. Over time the target of our resentment becomes the wicked, evil bane of our existence. If the object of our resentment is a store we avoid it and we tend to avoid the people we get angry with as well. Do you see where I am going with this? All this grief weighs us down; taking us away from the life we truly want to have. So what would happen if we used anger to make changes? We have the power to let go of this resentment and move on, no matter how painful the event that incited it. It is a choice. Live disturbed, or deal with it and have peace. Oh, I am not saying letting go is an easy process. It takes great courage and strength to let this companion anger/resentment go. Why, you ask, does it take courage? It forces us to personally confront, emotionally and mentally, the source of our anger. It requires us to be totally honest with ourselves about what caused the anger in the first place. It requires us to recognize if we need professional help to deal with our anger issues and seek that help out. Anger issues caused by a traumatic experience require professional help. A licensed therapist is trained to help you work on the issue in a safe environment better than family, friends or even self-help can. www.nourishyourbodymindsoul.com

he first step to using anger to make change is to admit you have anger issues. If you only occasionally get angry and are able to let it go quickly by changing how you interact with what causes the anger, then you have a handle on it (You are also probably very close to being an enlightened human!). If long line ups anger you, and you change the time you go shopping to a less popular hour, then you have shifted it. Chances are that if you do need to wait in a line up, you can deal with it just by realizing that you have a choice stay in the lineup and wait patiently (chat with others in line, skim a magazine, or check Facebook on your phone), or come back at a different time. If you go out shopping on a busy day (say Boxing Day, Super Saturday) and don`t expect lineups then you have other issues to look at. If you get angry each time this happens, or find yourself consistently engaging in activities that cause you to get angry, then a deeper look at the overall situation is warranted. What does waiting really mean to you? Perhaps you were constantly told to wait as a child. This could have the effect of making you a very patient person, or it could be one of those festered boils you need to look at. Perhaps hearing “good things come to those who wait” was not what you wanted to hear. You wanted it instantly, instant gratification. Admitting you have anger issues is the first step towards making a change, and a step towards a more peaceful life. You don’t have to shout it from the roof tops, just calmly acknowledging it to yourself is enough. Admitting is not enough though; next we need to cease assigning blame. Blame is what we do rather than take any responsibility for our role in our anger. Realize that by placing blame you are holding them or the object responsible for your feelings. By placing blame we think we are coping with our anger, but in reality we are holding onto our anger with a vice grip. It is better to figure out what the trigger is, what little button causes you to go from calm to raging in 60 seconds or less. Then decide that you are going to work on it. A great tool to help release and let go of things is to write them down on paper and burn the paper once you are done. I find there is something very clearing about getting my feelings out on paper and then lighting it on fire. As the paper is burning I thank the feelings that I am releasing for being with me and wish them well. Another great way to release anger is to look at the situation with compassion. Remember there are al-

ways two sides to each story. Either you or the other person could have been having a rough day. Are you blowing the situation out of proportion after the fact by reliving it and embellishing how things really happened?

MUSIC THAT MOVED US By Phil Nielsen

Life will always present opportunities for us to become angry. We just need to work on not holding onto it. Life is too short to hold onto anger. Looking at what we have control over and working on that, it will make it easier to live a life of joy. Not only that, by clearing up all those issues you will have free time that you can fill with activities that are fun, bring meaning to your life and bring you joy. Oh, by the way, joy and love are the opposite of anger and resentment! So next time your button gets pushed, acknowledge that you are angry, try to stay calm and breathe through it, then look at what caused you to react that way. Can you let it go? Is it a deeper issue you need to clear up? Slowly and surely the things that could set you off quicker than it takes to snap your fingers will no longer annoy, anger or upset you. You will have released most of the anger from your being in favor of love, joy and peace!

This column is going to be about any music we heard the past month that stirred our souls. It won’t be from a music critic’s perspective, just a few tunes that we heard and really liked. It will possibly be music you have never heard but expanding your music horizons is always a good thing. We have been expanding our music library every week when we go to the local Starbucks. They release a free music card every Tuesday. A lot of times it is a track or a band we have never heard before. ITunes also has a free release every week. Some are really famous while others are from bands just starting out or trying to get known. I have been listening to, in no particular order: Lady Antebellum’s Need You Now We Are Young by Fun and also the cast of Glee A very cool blues album by Jimmy Witherspoon and Robben Ford called Live at the Notodden Blues Festival (a mouthful but well worth checking out if you are into blues) And I always have time for any Pink Floyd.

ALWAYS WRITE ANGRY LETTERS TO YOUR ENEMIES. NEVER MAIL THEM.

These are but a few that I listened to this month Everyone has their own tastes so if you have a song or a band you think everyone should hear, feel free to contact me at nourishpublication@gmail.com. I want this column to be for everyone. Until next month...

CONVERSATIONS WITH CHAMUEL by Kaye Castleman Archangel Chamuel is most commonly known as the angel of love and compassion.

(S)He can be

helpful in dealing with communication issues, relationships, ethnic and racial tension, and to assist in situations where we are looking for things we have lost, or cannot find.

As a channel for

messages from Chamuel, I have found he has a strong desire to support the opening of our heart chakra, especially at this critical time in our development.

Hello again, dear Angels of Earth. Welcome to the sacred energy of the angelic realms. We feel the energy building as you prepare for this romantic time of year you honour with the same of a dear saint. We bless your recognition of his life and your desire to acknowledge this most sacred aspect of love. There is one word to share with you before we proceed with questions. As you prepare for this special day and a time of honouring your special loved one and loved ones, (for we see that many of those you hold dear are included in this celebration), we ask that you focus not on your expectations of the day, nor on your expectations of your loved one. This is the day to honour the angel that they are in your life, and to find your way of communicating that recognition. Shifting your focus in this way will lift the energy of the experience you have. When the day becomes an opportunity for you to open your heart and allow your love to flow out, you will never be disappointed. This is the time for you to declare the love that lives in you. It is not about hoping for or expecting anything from someone else. Can you see the difference? Feel it with your heart. Find the romance that lives within you, and share it with everyone on this special day. And so I am ready for your questions.

QUESTIONS TO CHAMUEL Question: Archangel Chamuel, I'm following the current Occupy movement and wondering what it is all about. What advice do you have for the occupiers around the globe? Answer: Thanks you for your question, Dear Heart. As you have probably guessed, the people who are involved in these localized gatherings are feeling a variety of emotions. Many are angry. Some are hopeful. All are confused. This is simply a part of the great shift in consciousness that is happening at this time. In times of change, humans find great comfort in gathering in groups of like-minded people and proclaiming their strength. It is a perfectly normal reaction to the fear of change. In many ways it is a very healthy outlet for these emotions. And there is much going on within these groups and for these individuals that is useful for consciousness to shift. My advice for those who are taking part in these activities and those who are following on the sidelines is simply to not be afraid. Do not act or make choices out of your fear, but gather in groups to manifest you greatest visions for your future. Speak your truth and share your insights as you are www.nourishyourbodymindsoul.com

guided, but do not seek to terrorize or instill fear in others. Do not think of what might happen, but be concerned with what is happening, and use your energies to that purpose. Many "occupiers" as you call them are already doing this. There is a great light and many inspired potentials around them. At the same time, there are many who are caught in the drama and fear of conspiracy and apocalyptic dogma. This does not serve them or your awakening world. Instead, I advise that those who are stuck on this path take a moment to lift their eyes and open their hearts to an expanded possibility, and to use their great reserves of energy in this direction. Each person has their part to play in this adventure, so do not judge your fellows, but find the path that is authentically yours, and speak your own truth. This is how the world is changed.

QUESTIONS TO CHAMUEL Question: I'm having body aches and pains lately that just won't go away. Is there anything I can do about them more than I'm already doing? Am I just getting old? Answer: Bless you, Dear Heart, for your question. The first thing I can say to you is that you are most definitely not getting old....unless you think you are. If you have determined in your belief system that at a certain age you will be plagued by illness or pain, then indeed you will be. Isn't it wonderful how the universe gives you exactly what you want? But you don't want it, you say. Unfortunately for you, the energies of the universe will give you first what you believe. If you believe that it is possible to live a whole and healthy life into very advanced years, then this will be much easier for you to create in your life. A major influence on the beliefs we hold is the experience of our environment. If all around you, everyone is collapsing by the time they are fifty years old, then you will have a difficult time believing that anything else is possible. However, if everyone in your family lives to be a hundred and they require no eye glasses or hearing aids, wheel-

chairs or surgeries, then you will expect this for yourself also. It is difficult to hold beliefs outside those in your environment, but it is possible. And I tell you now that it is possible for you to continue to have good health, think clearly and move without pain or limitations. You greatest asset is your love of your body and your life. Celebrate this vessel that carries you through your earthly experience. Enjoy each day you wake and find yourself another day older. Breathe deeply the aroma of wisdom and the passage of time. Laugh at your foibles and the wrinkles that collect on your skin, and do not stop singing and dancing and welcoming new adventures and people into your experience. You are going through a time of great change, and some aches and pains are being pushed to the surface so they may be cleared. Some of these are very stubborn, but your deep appreciation of the perfection of all that is happening is a far greater force, and will clear them eventually. All the resources you need to find balance again are there for you. Continue to use them, continue to live a life of purpose and joy, and the relief you are seeking is right before you.

Do you have a question for Chamuel? Archangel Chamuel is happy to respond! ENERGY 101 - LISTENING By Vera Enshaw This month we are going to work with another tool, one that is not necessarily thought of when working with energy. That tool is listening.

Everything that exists has a vibration which can be measured as a frequency. A simple thought vibrates and has its own particular frequency. The more intense the thought, the louder we hear it— even if we are not intentionally listening. How many times have you said something to another person and “heard” the resounding “thud” with which it was received? When you know another person really well you become attuned to their reactions, often knowing what they are going to say or do before the words are spoken or the deed is done. What you are doing is listening to their thoughts, usually without even being aware that that is what you are doing. You can do the same thing with a person you have never met before. If you have not had this experience in your life up to this point be prepared to have some fun! First of all, does any of the above resonate with you? If so, would you like to be more aware so that you can choose when you are listening? If you do not recognize this, but would like to experience listening at this higher level—come on! Let’s address the issue of integrity. I don’t want to hear thoughts that are personal and not intended to be heard—and I’m sure you don’t either. Relax. As with all energy work you will not hear anything that it is not appropriate for you to hear. As a person who may be listened to—you do not have to “shield” your thoughts. I am picking up the enerwww.nourishyourbodymindsoul.com

gy around the thought, not the thought itself. Let’s begin. Find yourself the proverbial comfortable chair—only this time I want you to make sure you are in a location that has people in it. Quiet yourself with a quick body relaxation and begin to focus your attention on your breath. Begin to watch the people around you. Pay attention to their body language, their facial expressions. People tend to frequent the same places—see if you can be in the same place at the same time every day. You will begin to notice the same people, and will become familiar with their actions and reactions. Don’t want to be caught in the act of watching? A good friend just asks her guides and angels to make her inconspicuous. You can do the same. Take a notebook and write down your observations. Once you get back to your space and some quiet time read the notes you have made. Highlight those that are most interesting or informative. Over time you may find some interesting patterns developing. On another level, begin to pay closer attention to the people you interact with every day. This does require you to step back a bit—detach and observe, rather than engaging in every issue. Listen. Listen until your ears hurt—and then listen some more. You will begin to hear everything around you…..your thoughts, the refrigerator, the birds outside, the footsteps on the floor above you. You will find that your listening expands. Just as you can see auras with your eyes, so you can hear energy with your ears. If you are like me, the things you begin to hear fill you with awe and wonder. Compassion for your fellow human begins to come forth as you begin to understand that underneath all thought, all action is a need for love, for understanding. I welcome your thoughts and questions on this or any of the energy articles that I have written. Namaste—the highest good in me acknowledges the highest good in you. And so it is.

YOGA NO REGRETS!

By Jeannie Magenta

The slate is blank and I ask myself what now? One month has passed already in this New Year and the question I ask is, “are you any closer to your goals and dreams?” How are those resolutions and new intentions going? Let this be a year of “No Regrets”

once the hamstrings are able to release and relax a bit. Imagine a warm gentle waterfall of healing energy pouring over your low back washing away all the tension in your body. Peeling the layers of stress off your back, shoulders, neck and head. Feel that energy flowing down you legs pooling at your feet before returning back into the earth. All the time being mindful of your breath as you inhale and exhale. Allowing your body to settle deeper into the pose. Staying here for a minute or two as you settle into a state to relaxation. This pose is best avoided if you have a back injury. Moving from the place of a calm mind what is your heart telling you? What is the next direction you want to move towards? In the words of the great Wayne Gretzky “For every shot you don’t take you miss 100% of the time.” Whatever your goal, be it a new pose a day or a consistent yoga practice, get on with it. And if you miss a day no worries, just don’t let it be your excuse for today. No Regrets!

Taking the pose Uttanasana also known as Standing Forward Bend as your pose for the month. When you have a few minutes take a deep breath in and extend your arms up stretching tall then exhale coming all the way forward into a forward fold. Allow your hands to rest gently on the floor or you can place a hand on each elbow if your hands don’t quite touch. Letting the torso hang in a state of relaxation. Now if your hamstrings are speaking loudly allow your knees to bend slightly to relieve a bit of the tension. The goal to move towards though is keeping the legs straight to get the maximum stretch in the hamstrings. Allowing the head to dangle like a ripe pear on a branch. As we move through our poses the year be sure to always stay within your body and never mind what your neighbors pose looks like. Remember we all have poses we are really great at that flow effortlessly and then others that feel very challenging. Know that those toughies are merely a work in progress and over time and repetition they will become easier as your body begins to stretch, strengthen and open up. What I love about this pose is the ability to relax the mind and produce a calming effect in the body www.nourishyourbodymindsoul.com

TASTE SENSATIONS OUR LOVE AFFAIR WITH ‌..

Chocolate By Kaye Castleman

Since the beginning of chocolate history, humans have been in love with the nut, or seed, of the cocoa tree, which contains the marvelous cocoa bean. Cultivation of cocoa trees originated in the Amazon River basin, from where it migrated to Venezuela and southern Mexico. In the ancient South and Central American cultures, including the Toltec, Mayan, Aztec, etc., we know that chocolate was eaten by the all the noble classes. Once Europeans arrived on American shores and sampled this amazing food, it quickly spread around the world. All chocolate is created from the beans of the cocoa fruit, which grow in pods on these tropical trees. However, not all chocolate is created equal.

All is not lost, however, for premium chocolate is still available to us. The best chocolate still comes from the rainforest, in tropical regions within 20 degrees of the equator. The cocoa tree is an understory plant that requires the shade of the rainforest to grow. Heirloom strains with low fermentation levels have pods that can be hand-peeled. After peeling, the nuts are removed from the fruit and then sun-dried under shade cloth. Low temperatures are maintained throughout any remaining processing. In this way, the natural properties of the beans are preserved, keeping the oils, enzymes and flavours intact. Why do we crave chocolate? There are several factors that contribute to chocolate's universal appeal. Most notably, the cocoa bean is high in theobromine, a molecule similar to caffeine. Theobromine is a cardiovascular stimulant and diuretic that has

ESSENTIAL OILS By Vera Enshaw

I love using essential oils— especially therapeutic grade essential oils. Pure oils always smell so good, there’s no chemical smell at all because they are not extracted using chemicals. Instead they are extracted using steam distillation at very low temperatures so that all of the wonderful properties of the oil are retained. Clove essential oil is one of my favorites! This aromatic, spicy hot oil can be used for so many things—one of the best ways to use it daily is as a “signature” scent. People rarely object to the scent of therapeutic grade essential oils—especially the spicy ones! It is a “hot” oil so you may want to use it with a quality carrier oil such as organic sweet almond. Cloves are the unopened pink flower buds of the evergreen clove tree. The buds are picked by hand when they are pink and dried until they turn brown in color. Cloves are about 1/2-inch long and 1/4inch in diameter and with their tapered stem, they resemble tiny nails. In fact, their English name is actually derived from the Latin word clavus, which means nail. Although cloves have a very hard exterior, their flesh features an oily compound that is essential to their nutritional and flavour profile.

Many people will remember using a clove for a toothache (this was in the days before going to the dentist was a regular thing!). Clove essential oil can still be used for that purpose—a small amount on the gum below the tooth (again-dilute if necessary) will help to dull the pain and can even eliminate it completely. According to testimonials at www.oiltestimonials.com clove oil has helped to relieve pain from arthritis, has helped to get rid of warts and corns. Aromatically it may improve memory and also help to create a feeling of protection and courage. It has also been used to help people stop smoking—a small amount placed on the tongue with your finger removes the desire to smoke. Historically, cloves have been used for skin infections, digestive upsets, intestinal parasites (read the ingredients in that parasite cleanse you’re taking— chances are it includes clove!). A couple of drops of clove oil mixed with an organic carrier oil makes for a lovely, aromatic massage oil. And, as I said before…..use it in cooking! Therapeutic grade essential oils are very powerful, so you will have to experiment….but a drop of clove oil in spice cookies? Mmmmm. Tasty! If you have questions about this, or any essential oil feel free to contact me via email: lightvera1@gmail.com Namaste

Earth Crystals

By Marlene Cobb

Known as the love or heart stone, it is the gem of unconditional love. Working with this crystal can help open one up to all forms of love. It restores trust and harmony making it the perfect stone to pack around when working on inner healing, looking for a life partner, or cleaning out the skeletons in your closet. Calming and reassuring it brings comfort during grieving. Rose quartz is really an amazing crystal that is well rounded. It encourages selfforgiveness and acceptance, invoking self-trust and self-worth.

Photo: Phil Nielsen Quartz is a power stone and has long been considered the universal crystal. It is the most recognized crystal available. This month we are looking at one variety of the Quartz family, Rose Quartz. Rose quartz gets its color from trace amounts of titanium, iron or manganese. Rose quartz is a photosensitive crystal, meaning it can lose color if exposed to light over long periods of time. Most of the rose quartz we find on the market today comes from Brazil, although deposits of the crystal are found in Canada, Australia, Africa, England, Madagascar, India, Germany, Scotland and several locations in the USA (Most notably in South Dakota which adopted rose quartz as its official mineral in 1966). An interesting fact I discovered while researching is that Rose quartz is hardly ever found in crystal formation, it is almost always found in solid masses. This remains a scientific mystery because Quartz crystallizes into well-formed crystals in all other macro crystalline varieties, leaving no viable reason as to why Rose Quartz crystals do not commonly occur. In fact the first Rose Quartz crystals discovered were dismissed as fakes.

Emotionally rose quartz brings to us gentleness, forgiveness, compassion, kindness and tolerance. It helps to balance the emotions bringing inner peace and harmony. On a physical level it is said to help with the physical heart and circulatory system releasing impurities from the body fluids. It hastens recovery, reduces high blood pressure, aids chest and lung problems, heals the adrenals and kidneys and alleviates vertigo. Lastly; Rose Quartz dispels negativity, replacing it with loving vibes. Find a piece of rose quartz that calls to you and start working with it to see what it will bring to you. Even if you do not require it for inner or physical healing, Rose Quartz is an amazing crystal to have in your collection.

The pale pink color of Rose Quartz can range from transparent to translucent. Transparent rose quartz is very rare and usually is so pale that it does not show very much color. The translucent variety of rose quartz is more readily available and is what we normally see in rock shops, jewelry and carvings. This is probably one of the first crystals people add to their collection. I believe it is the gentle energy that calls to us and beckons us to hold it for a while. Holding a rose quartz for me brings a feeling of wellbeing. www.nourishyourbodymindsoul.com

LIFE THROUGH TAROT By Marlene Cobb

tools. He thanks the Priestess and admits that while the information has helped he still does not know what to do. “I am afraid of making the wrong choice” The words come to him then, not from without but from within: "What do your instincts tell you?" The Fool reflects on that, and that's when he knows what he should do. Decision made, he rises to leave even though he suspects that the High Priestess has more wisdom she could share with him. Focused on what his next step will be he thanks the High Priestess and heads out to continue his journey. As he walks away he hears “We will meet again when you are ready for the next path on your journey.”

Photo: Phil Nielsen We have come to the third card in our journey. Number 2 - The High Priestess. While the Magician showed the Fool all the tools he has at the ready to access when needed, the beautiful High Priestess greats him with silence. She is seated between two pillars marked B and J (from the mystic temple of Solomon). B stands for Boaz meaning strength or boldness, the J stands for Jachin meaning establish or begin. Behind the Priestess is a curtain embroidered with palm leaves and pomegranates (symbolizing Persephone, a story for another time). If we look beyond the curtain, we can make out what looks to be a body of water, perhaps a river, lake or ocean. The High Priestess is adorned with a blue robe, a moon crown reminiscent of the one Isis wears, a cross, and is holding a scroll with the word TORA on it. There is much discussion around what TORA actually symbolizes, some say it symbolizes the Jewish Torah others say it is an anagram of Tarot, with the last letter covered. Illuminated by the crescent moon at her feet the Priestess is quiet, and still.

The Fool took the leap off of the cliff and started out on his journey. Along the way he met the magician, who presented him with many ideas and possibilities. The High Priestess shows us this, seated between two pillars as between two choices. She does not tell us what to decide, rather she asks us to put off making a decision until we have taken time to listen to our inner voice. She wants us to gain knowledge; instinctual, supernatural, secret, and self-knowledge, before acting. Rely on your intuition and your inner knowledge, rather than your conscious mind or intellect. Pay attention to your dreams. When the High Priestess shows up she is our guide to all that is mysterious and mystical.

The Fool eager to find out what this mysterious person has to offer, shows off the gifts garnered from the Magician; the sword, chalice, staff and pentacle. “I have been given these; I could do many things with them. To pick one seems a task larger than I first thought. I can’t decide on how to use them. I sense that you have much wisdom to share. What shall I do with these items?” Quietly the Priestess hands him a pair of scrolls. The Fools sits at her feet and reads the ancient scrolls. The scrolls give him insight into his new www.nourishyourbodymindsoul.com

SHOPPING WITH THE DIVINE By Vera Enshaw

Did you have fun??? Me too. Turns out that we can have a divine time shopping for the food we are going to put into our bodies. Kind of a soul experience. Be patient with me—I can’t help being punny. You’ve spent the last couple of months becoming more aware of the vegetables and fruits that you purchase and of your body’s reaction to what you choose. This month we are going to the meat department. If you are vegetarian, bear with us. You probably have friends who are meat-eaters and they will benefit from this information. The first thing I want you to do is actually take an observation walk around this department. We tend to only buy certain types of meat and because we rush through our shopping we don’t get to see the variety that is available. You may be surprised to see that you can purchase duck, rabbit and even, on occasion, pheasant! Organic beef may be right out there on the shelf with the non-organic stuff….but in my grocery store organic chicken is hiding in a freezer by the dairy department. There are a lot of different types of fish available now. There was a time when the only cod you could purchase had been frozen and thawed so many times that it was gray! Now fresh cod and red snapper are available on a regular basis—and so are fish from other parts of the world. Tilapia. Basa. It is even available cleaned but whole—you get to take the skin off ! Fun! All right—now you have wandered around and been suitably impressed and perhaps even checked out some things on that new-fangled internet phone you have. Look at your grocery list (the one www.nourishyourbodymindsoul.com

in your mind will do just fine!) and see what you planned to bring home with you. Have you already decided on something new based on what you’ve seen? Whatever you decide to purchase—pick up. Hold it until you feel whether this is the right piece of meat or fish or poultry for you. If it’s not, pick up another one. Have some awareness as you are doing this of the creature that provided it for us. Give thanks to it, and to its species for the bounty that is being shared. If it feels appropriate for you to bring that specific item home with you—put it in your cart and move on. There has to be some mention here of organic versus not organic. I would love to purchase only organic food—and most especially I would love to make that purchase right from the farmer. In general I have found that organic tastes better and lasts longer. It is not always possible to make that purchase. Sometimes availability is an issue and sometimes the issue is the cost. And not always is the organic item the one my body says yes to! Kryon (who is now starting to appear in these pages) made it very clear a long time ago that it is important to honour the gift of food given to us. What happens to the gift if we refuse it? The purchase of food is very personal. Trust YOUR intuition, YOUR body. Learn to listen to what YOU are telling YOU! I’ll be back time….Enjoy!

INNER VOICE By Marlene Cobb The last time we connected we determined what our communication style was, and how using common sense would give us a foundation strong enough to tune into our Inner Voice. This month we are going to start building a relationship with our Inner Voice. Your IV can be your best friend, not in the sense of taking away from other humans but in that it can help guide you. One way to start getting to know and trust your IV is through meditation. Such a simple word yet it often instills fear into people. Fear that it is woo-woo hippy dippy, nonsense. I believe meditation has gotten a bad rap to the point of people actually cringing when you even say the word. How something so beautiful can cause such reactions is a mystery. To meditate is to still and quiet the mind. Does that mean you sit there for a predetermined time and have a blank mind? Not usually, yes that can happen, but the amazing aspect of meditation is you start off emptying your mind and then wonderful inner wisdom arrives. You can ask a question before going into a meditation. Sometimes what comes to you has no relevance to what is going on in your life, or to the question you asked. Other times the long awaited for answer will come along with information to help with the situation. How we meditate can take different forms, there is the traditional sitting in a lotus position, some people prefer to lie down. A walk can be a meditation, a simple act of washing the dishes; knitting can be a form of meditation. Yoga, dancing, even looking at the stars can also be included on the meditation list. Any activity that allows you to focus on your breathing, and allows you to focus on your body starts the process of slowing down the mental chatter. Once the mind begins to slow down and relax, our bodies relax. The benefits of meditating each day include better overall health, both physically and mentally. Some of the benefits include lower blood pressure, lower sugar levels, help with chronic diseases like allergies and arthritis, reduce pre-menstrual syndrome, enhance the immune system, reduce emotional distress, build self-confidence and slow the aging process (for that alone it should be worth a try!). There has been extensive research done, and I invite you to do your own web surf and see what you come up with. If for no other reason, try meditawww.nourishyourbodymindsoul.com

tion as a time out/gift for yourself from your busy day. 20 minutes of meditation is like a good night’s sleep, you will be refreshed and ready to face whatever comes your way. 20 minutes a day is all that is required. Pick a time in your day when you can be sure to have no interruptions. You know your lifestyle better than me, so you will know when the best time to meditate is for you. Some experts suggest that you pick the same time each day; I believe this is a good idea when first starting because it establishes a routine. It is part of the training, and when it is the same time each day the mind gets use to it and prepares. If you cannot do your meditations at the same time each day don't stress about it, the point is to just make sure you meditate each day. If doing this on your own seems daunting there are many great meditations cd’s on the market, complete with music in the background, and a person who soothingly will guide you through a meditation. Here is a simple way to start meditating, get comfortable, either sitting upright or lying down. If you are going to lie down, lay on your back arms comfortably by your side. If sitting upright, place both feet on the floor, hands palm facing up on your lap. If you are using a meditation cd start it at this point, and follow along. If you are going to try meditating on your own, start off by relaxing your body, start at your toes, and tense them, then release. Work slowly up your body tensing and releasing different muscles. By the time you reach your eyebrows you should be totally relaxed. Now let’s take the focus and place it on our breath. I find it helps if I could each inhale and exhale as one and start at 10 and work down to 1. Usually by the time I get to 1, I am in my meditation zone. I will admit that some days it is harder than others to get to the zone so I do two rounds of counting backwards from 10. If things from your day float into your mind, thank them for being there and put them away until after your meditation. Just keep your mind as empty as possible and you will soon be in the zone and your Inner Voice will be able to communicate with you. Try and meditate each day until we meet again. I welcome your comments or questions drop me a line via email at nourishpublication@gmail.com. If you experience something and are having a hard time discerning if it is your Inner Voice I would be glad to lend an ear and my advice. Ciao till next month!

LIVE KRYON CHANNELLING The information below is free and available for you to print out, copy and distribute as you wish. The Copyright, however, prohibits sale in any form except by the publisher

"The Recalibration of Wisdom" This live channelling was given in Lima, Peru November 27, 2011 To help the reader, this channelling has been revisited [by Lee and Kryon] to provide even clearer understanding. Often what happens live has implied energy within it, which carries a kind of communication that the printed page does not. So enjoy this enhanced message given in Lima, Peru. Greetings, dear ones, I am Kryon of Magnetic Service. The process has begun, and we've spoken of it many times. The information that I'm about to give has been given at one time before. However, it has not been given by Kryon in your language [Spanish], so we give you a review that will not take long. It's important that you hear it, and that others hear it, so they will understand what all this means. This information has not been given in its completeness, and so the information is easy to be misunderstood. It is information that is honoring to your area [Peru] and it is esoteric. So we begin. Review - The Great Shift as Predicted There is a shift going on in the planet, and it's a slow, profound shift of Human consciousness. Twenty-two years ago, I told you about it in the first transcription, Kryon, Book I. Part of the Kryon energy is created to give you understanding, information, and love about things that are new on the planet. This is one. Although it's new, it's not unexpected. Years ago, I started speaking about the movement that is upon you. Even this day, it has been shown to you as it was transcribed and recorded [earlier in the meeting]. We have said that the Kundalini of the planet is moving. We never used the word serpent, but we do now. This has been the prophecy of the ancients, but not necessarily the ones that are here - for the ones who are hearing this should know that I speak from Peru. These particular prophecies have mostly come from those in the northern hemisphere. Many have told of this time as the movement of energy. Some prophecies came from the Maya and others still from the very high north. They said that there would come a time of potential, of a magnificent change for planet Earth. It would represent a consciousness shift and would start moving the Feathered Serpent south. Now it is important that you understand why this is happening, and what it really represents. * The Three Grids There are three grids on this planet, and we have spoken of all three just recently. The magnetic grid is one of

www.nourishyourbodymindsoul.com

them. I arrived in 1989 and that which you would call my partner's consciousness and I melded to give you a message: We told you that the magnetic grid of the planet would move more in the next 10 years than it had in 100. By the year 2002, it had done just that. Science shows this and is measureable even with a simple compass. The magnetic grid moved and we told you it would. This was only the beginning, for it interfaces with two other grids on the planet that are also invisible. The second one is called the Crystalline Grid. The third one we will call Gaia. All of these are together and intertwined, but the one that is the most dynamic is the Crystalline. The Crystalline Grid responds to Human consciousness and that which is called the Kundalini of the planet. This is energy that moves and uncoils itself, but only if it is called to do so through that multidimensional energy called, "Human consciousness." This is what has happened, and now let us explain why. It may seem oversimplified, but we have mentioned many times before that the planet is out of balance. The balance we speak of is the balance between male and female consciousness. Years ago, we gave you this information. We told you that the planet is heavy in the gender of masculinity. It's not balanced. This balance affects the grid, and the planet, and Gaia. But Humans have given this energy to the planet in what they have developed over history. This is now changing, since Humans are changing. As Humans change, so does Gaia. Don't misunderstand: This has nothing to do with men and women. It has to do with the consciousness of male and female. In the latest information of Kryon, given in the 12 layers of DNA, we described one of the profound layers of DNA that stands by itself. We're not going to give you the layer number, for we want you to find it and discover it - and then laugh at the synchronicity of the numerology. It's called the Wise Divine Feminine. It is not combined with any other layer, as some are. It is soft and sweet. It is Mother energy actually much more than that. What is happening today in this consciousness shift is that these are the specific energies that are beginning to change. And again it may seem to be oversimplified, but it has something to do with the magnetics, as well as Human consciousness. There is system that you give very little credibility to that involves all of these earth energies as a catalyst to each other. As goes Human consciousness goes the grids of the earth - and one affects the other. Attributes of the Northern and Southern Hemispheres The northern hemisphere of the planet has contained most of what you would call the masculine energy of the planet. The southern hemisphere carries a more feminine energy. This is information I have given to you before. This is the polarity, even the duality, of the planet. When Human beings start to change, so then does the planet and the energies of the grids. Therefore, there is a major change in the process regarding the grids of Earth in response to humanity. Make a note to yourselves that the imbalance of humanity and the hemispheres can be seen in history. Most of the major wars and all of the world wars have been started

February 2012

26

and fought mostly in the north. Most of the fighting has been there. The conquering of nations over and over has been there. That has been the balance of the planet, and you can see the masculine "war" imbalance very strong in the northern hemisphere. Most of the wars in the southern hemisphere have been caused by those from the north, coming to conquer or enslave. Do you see what we are saying? Did you ever consider these things? The northern hemisphere is masculine heavy, but not for long. Now, if it is true that the planet is starting to rebalance itself in consciousness, what do you think is happening? The answer is that you're starting to see a rebalancing of the consciousness of male and female. It means that the males of the planet are becoming more balanced. It means the females of the planet are being more balanced. It means humanity is becoming more balanced. The Beginning of the End of War There is a saying that, "If women ran the world, they would never send their children to the battlefield." This becomes the definition of "mother energy." Let me give you another saying. "If the world is balanced male and female, then Humans would never send their children to the battlefield." The rebalancing of male and female energies on the grids means that a certain kind of earth energy will move. The Kundalini must move. It has been in that place for so long in the northern hemisphere - India and Tibet. Many say that this was the center of spiritual wisdom. Indeed, there was wisdom there, and it helped to balance the male heavy energy, but not without it also becoming male heavy. How many female leaders do you see in the ranks of the monks and other orders in those areas? The answer is almost none. The southern hemisphere represents the female energy of the planet. The Kundalini starts to move in response to humanity and it uncurls itself and the tail of the serpent will end up at the bottom of Chile. The center of the [Feathered] Serpent is in Peru. [Journey of the Feathered Serpent] * Not A Shift of Wisdom Contrary to what you may have been told, this has nothing to do with the shift of wisdom to the southern hemisphere. Listen. What is here? [in Peru] If you were to study the ancients here, you're going to find wise, divine feminine! It is everywhere. There's a place not far in the mountain that we could call the capital of the wise, divine feminine on the planet [Machu Picchu]. The earth has ignored it! It laid there unknown by all but the local farmers and without the energy of discovery. It was blind to the conquerors [the Spaniards], who moved all around the area and never found it. Humanity was not ready for it, and now it is. There will be those who would hear this message and say, "Well, the wisdom of Tibet is moving into Peru." That is not so. Instead, the heart chakra of the earth, which is the Kundalini, now begins to seek another wisdom center, a more balanced one. It moves to a place where softer

www.nourishyourbodymindsoul.com

wisdom has prevailed. It seeks out the wisdom of the divine feminine. So the earth is ready to glean this wisdom and pull upon the portals of this area. In the process, the consciousness of the planet will be changed even more. It has been waiting for this. The Real Energy of Machu Picchu The area you call Machu Picchu (which is your name, not the name given by those who built it) is a sweet energy. It is a womb-like and safe energy. It is beautiful and that is why so many are starting to come here. They are drawn to this new energy, for they knew it was coming. Old souls all over the planet want to feel it. They want to climb the rocks and celebrate it. This is a new earth. It is time for the wisdom that has always been here to be placed on that which is the Crystalline Grid of the planet and shared with all. I have just explained the movement of the Kundalini, the energy of the Feathered Serpent. It honors the area. It has always been ready for this. You've had 100 years' celebration of Machu Picchu. That's all. That's only a fraction of the history of the north. It's been hidden and only revealed recently. It was being prepared, protected, and now is ready to be revealed as the capital of the wise, divine feminine on the planet. There are secrets here that may never be revealed. There are those who represent the Seven Sisters here who have not yet shown themselves. There is an awakening here, and some of the shamanic Humans of the area are aware. Peruvians, celebrate! For this is what some of the old souls here have been waiting for. And that's why there's resistance. There is resistance because the old energy here does not want to accept this. The old energy here has come from the northern hemisphere long ago and it's out of balance and you know it. It does not honor the land, the air, or the water. So there will be shift and change and resistance. Old soul, be ready for this. Celebrate what is happening and prepare the next generation for what is coming. This is the message we give. It's more complete than it's ever been given before, giving you the reason why it moves. We are tying this even to your DNA, for it is in "remembrance" mode, waiting for this to happen. Finally, there are those who will not understand this message. For those, I say that it's not necessary that you do. Instead, know this: The love of God is in you and it wants you to leave differently than you came. You don't need to grasp all the esoterics. We only ask that you feel that which is true. You are known by God and we wash your feet. It's your time. And so it is KRYON * Kryon Book 8 - 2000 - Page 341 "The Journey of the Feathered Serpent."
