WHAT IS THE NEW NEWS? Inclement Weather Emergency Plan

Upcoming Events Save the date!

If you are working at the time the Plan goes into effect: o You are expected to stay until personnel from the next shift arrive to relieve you o Food and a place to stay will be provided for employees who stay overnight For employees who are unable to drive to and rom work: o If you come to work up to one (1) hours earlier than your scheduled time, you will be paid for the extra time To assist employees who are unable to drive to and from work: o KNW will reimburse the cost to take a taxi or use the services of Uber or Lyft o KNW will provide transportation when possible and if necessary and only as the last option (Request must be made to employee’s supervisor) If you are not able to come to work at your regularly scheduled time you must do the following at least 2 hours before the start of your shift: o Nursing staff need to call the nurse on duty o All other employees need to call their supervisor

Butternut Pudding

Targets lower-back muscles, plus shoulders and chest.

Ingredients: • 2- 10 ounce packages, thawed frozen butternut squash puree • 1- 14 ounce can coconut milk • 4 eggs • ½ cup of pure maple syrup • Whipped cream Get Cooking! 1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. 2. Blend squash, coconut milk, eggs and syrup – pour into 8-inch baking dish 3. Put dish in roasting pan; pour boiling water halfway up dish to make water bath 4. Bake for 1 hour 5. Top with whipped cream!

1. Start with your hands and knees on the ground 2. Sit back on your heels and extend your arms forward into child’s pose (see position in top photo) 3. Raise your head and slide your torso forward along the ground, arching your spine and straightening your arms so that they are supporting your weight (see position in bottom photo) 4.
