Sabrina Griffin is our “Diva” and such a great role model for others to look up to. Her list of talent traits start from dance, gymnastics, to modeling and acting. Sabrina landed a commercial for “Nokia’s” phone ad and other upscale campaigns, ads, and web sites proving that she is not afraid to get in front of the camera. She keeps her goal of “breaking-barriers” as her motivation as she continues to knock her competition out with her spice and love for this modeling industry.

Lesson #2 Try something New Break out of your shell Get those glittery bugs out of your system and scream ..... Balancing a book on the center of your head to gain good posture??? This might sound a bit corny but it actually helps when you are on a slippery runway with five inch heels on. You should find out what works for you, try all types of walks using different lengths of your steps and movements from the waist down. If if feels like you are doing too much you probably are, try not to make it look unnatural. Your walk should look easy but it should be your signature, meaning hard to master.

Nifty Magazine Sometimes modeling calls for experience in other areas besides modeling. Let’s take a look at what other clients might be looking for when they’re considered your resume.
Acting? You might think that modeling only consist of posing in front of the camera but there is more to it than that. Regardless if you are in front of a lens or speaking to an audience you are still presenting an image for others to buy. Acting might sound a little different but when you think about a mood that a photographer or client sets for you, to pre tray you go into character similar to acting. Taking a course in acting bring you out of your shell and make you more marketable to your clients in ways you wouldn’t believe.
Dancing? Movement, rhythm, graceful motion, this is everything you want on the runway. Toe, arms, hips, legs is all the body parts you want to work and train to work for you. You will be surprised how many models can’t pose. It’s not about being pretty it’s about capturing an image to SELL. Stay in shape, improve your flexability, and learn all the position your body can master. Not only with you have something new to show your photographer but it’s a great help to look like a pro and gain some confidence. 06
