SPECIAL ACTIVITIES & FITNESS CLASSES 7 ZUMBA FITNESS WITH AMY BEE Wednesdays and Fridays 5:40 – 6:40 p.m. (no classes Dec. 25 or Jan. 1) Punch cards: 10 classes/$50.00 or 25 classes/$100.00 or $6.00 drop in Annual Pass holders – drop in price is $4.00 First class is free! Instructor: Amy Bendel Special dates and times this Fall: September 11 - Student appreciation day (free class!) November 1 – Halloween Costume Party, 5:45–7:45 (costume contest, prizes, spooky routines) November 29 – Day after Thanksgiving Party, 5:45–7:15 (Battle of the Bulge!) December 27 – Christmas Party, 5:45–7:15 (prizes, themed routines) January 3 – New Year’s Party, 5:45–7:45 Amy has been a Zumba instructor since January 2011. Her passion for Zumba is contagious and is what fuels her to lead energetic classes with routines that are easy to follow but also provide the cardio necessary to help you reach your fitness goals. Her classes are known for having a laid-back atmosphere where it doesn’t matter if you’re a size 2 or 20, you will fit in and have fun. ZUMBA Free with Annual Pass Mondays, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Saturdays, 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Punch cards: 10 classes/$60.00, or $7.00 drop in (Admission free with Annual Pass to the Rec. Center) Instructor: Shannon Rackowski Zumba is a Latin inspired dance workout that combines the benefits of working out with the fun of dancing. This class will be taught by Shannon Rackowski who has more than 25 years experience in the fitness industry. 10/10 - FREE WITH ANNUAL PASS 10 Thousand Steps/10 Weeks Tuesdays, 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. 10 classes/$15.00 (Admission free with Annual Pass to the Rec. Center) Instructor: Shannon Rackowski That’s all it takes to maintain fitness! Adults can sign up for the 10-week program and receive a free pedometer to track their progress. Fitness Trainer Shannon Rackowski will give an introduction to “Walking for Fitness” on the first day and assist throughout the program. Class is limited to 20 students.
