We have 25 shooting lanes that incorporate the latest advancements, equipment and technology in the firearms industry. Our facility features 3 ranges with 6 lanes and one VIP range with 7 lanes so that we can give our customers the best experience possible. The sensation and experience of firing a machine gun can only happen first hand. We offer a full line of guns from the classic Thompson Sub-Machine Gun, to the M-16 and MPS. While our customers enjoy the opportunity to shoot their favorite machine gun, our local community, and organizations are able to take full advantage of our private bays. Another amenity found only at The Range 702 is The Range 702 Café. The restaurant has a complete menu to satisfy our customers’ appetite. You are able to dine and enjoy great food and beverages while viewing all of the exciting action happening on the ranges. The Range 702 has an on-site Gunsmith and Armorer so that we can take care of our customers by providing cleaning, maintenance, repairs and custom work. The classes that we provide at our facility play a very important role in our community involvement. Safety and education are the building blocks to strengthen our shooting sport. Our instructors provide the highest level of training from an incoming beginner to a seasoned shooter wanting to ad-

These are just a few of the classes that we offer: State of Nevada Concealed Firearms Permit (CCW), Multiple NRA Courses, Basic thru Advanced Defensive Pistol, Variety of Women’s Classes and Hunter’s Safety. Our facility has a spacious retail area so that we are able to provide our customers with the latest Guns, Accessories, Clothing, and Ammunition. Another feature of our range is the PRISim7 system. T
he good news is that a celeb chef has done exactly that by adding to his restaurant repertoire with the opening of a stylish Asian restaurant of that name at the south end of the Strip. The better news is that Zenshin is inside South Point which means that an extraordinary dining experience can be followed by any number of entertaining diversions. The best news of all? The chef/proprietor is the platinum-credentialed Terence Fong, renowned for his imaginative ways of honoring Asian traditions. That mastery has gained him a loyal following throughout exec chef gigs at Gatsby’s, Chinois, and Island Sushi & Hawaiian Grill, the latter still serving his celebrated cuisine at the Plaza downtown and on south Eastern Avenue. At Zenshin he’s crafted a menu rich in sushi, sashimi, nigiri, rice and noodle dishes, classic entrées, bowls and boxes. Equally delectable are selections from tantalizing arrays of appetizers, desserts and libations. The starters are pretty compelling, no matter what dishes are planned for the rest of the repast. Will it be tempura eggplant fries seasoned with parmesan and served with garlic miso dipping sauce? Spicy tuna over crispy rice, avocado and sweet soy reduction? Tacos filled with Hawaiian style ahi poke, Asian guacamole and wasabi crème fraiche? Or maybe the crab-squared composition of panko fried soft shell crab, avocado, snow crab, and mango salsa?

Among the specialties: a deeply flavored and restorative oxtail soup, garlic chicken, barbecue– grilled beef short ribs, hibachi grilled salmon, miso marinated black cod, and fire grilled 16–ounce bone in ribeye. The latter is served with roasted garlic compound butter and a medley of Japanese mushrooms. Yum. Fong’s often-playful culinary vibe makes an appearance in the lasagna roll among other dishes, as well an in such rolls named Candy Cane, Baked Alaskan, and 8-Second Bull Ride. That lasagna roll is quite the taste sensation, by the way, successfully tucking both Italian and Japanese flavors into each unexpectedly wondrous bite. The entrée section of the menu showcases Japanese traditions at their finest, taking shape as chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, saba shioyaki–which is breaded and grilled mackerel, and tonkatsu—panko breaded and fried pork loin. The tonkatsu sauce is also served with the chicken katsu. It is such an interesting blend, dancing all over the taste buds with bursts of sweet, fruity, salty, tangy and spicy, plus usually a kick of sake. a silky stack served with chocolate sauce. Want more chocolate with your sauce? Then by all means go for the warm chocolate brownie topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate sauce. A full bar is also on tap, featuring top shelf spirits, liqueurs, and cognacs. Specialty drinks too, including a lychee martini. And of course – sake! Great sake. And also a good variety of Japanese beer and 12- and 15-year-old Japanese whiskeys. Fong credits Director of Operations/Mixologist Daniel Toves for this first rate roster. While you await your plate, be sure to notice the design touches that abound at Zenshin, some with a tale to tell. Ask about the symbolism of the warrior and the origins of the wood block wall. Overall, the handsome space is divided into the main dining room with tables and booths, a centerpiece sushi bar, and then smaller side rooms for private parties or to accommodate the inevitable crowds at peak times. It’s open to the casino and yet there’s something about the golden color scheme, the soft lighting, and the gentle tone emanating from chefs to servers to reception folks that in total manages to create a separate peace. Go and enjoy Asian cuisine that is at once ancient and modern. And you might find that in the process, Zenshin has in fact moved you forward on your own culinary journey.
