“Framing Filtration” The design elements stem from the idea that when rivers are extended, they “filter” through the land. Rocks and sediments are broken apart, scatter & settle to frame the flow of water. The Buildings represent larger rocks that break apart and settle as a result of the human flow to the site from the SW corner. The position of the buildings work to frame courtyards & areas where people and automobiles flow through the site like water through a riverbank. Pages shown were completed using AutoCAD 2010. This project was awarded the Most Improved Design Award in June, 2010.

Finished Perspective B This client wasn’t looking for anything in particular besides nice curb appeal. I was given free reign to come up with a good variety in plant types, form, height and color. They were extremely pleased with my professionalism through the process as well as the final results.
Backyard Deck + Design Residential

This client was looking to add on to their existing backyard landscaping. The only existing plants were daylilies along the shed and some hostas along the house. The planting arrangement along the back fence had a purpose of bringing color balance and fragrange.

Outdoor Kitchen on Landscape Deck Residential
This color rendering was put together using a combination of Punch Home Design Pro software, AutoCAD and Adobe Illustrator. The client was looking for an outdoor kitchen on a deck in her backyard along with some landscaping. She has a public bike path that cuts through her backyard. I designed the deck’s landscaping with plants native to her area keeping those public views in mind.

This client has a few specific plants in mind that they wanted to make sure were included in the design. Their original idea was for a Crabapple tree on the corner. When I suggested my taste for weeping form of a Snow Fountain Cherry on the corners of homes they loved the idea.
I also suggested the two Arborvitae shrubs after they informed me they wanted something to help screen the wind while they relax on the front porch.

Landscape Detailing is a term coined for the fact that an artistic level of attention to detail is given to all installations of plants, mulch and any other landscape accessories. It is meant to suggest that there is an extra level of service offered that is similar to the extra level of service one gets when they have their vehicle detailed.

The Event Connection is an event hosting company specializing in corporate events as well as wedding ceremonies and receptions. The existing condition for this property was an asphalt paved parking lot.
The owner of the company was looking to convert this portion of the parking lot into an outdoor gathering space for it’s clients and guests. He envisioned a pavilion for outdoor receptions, a gazebo for ceremonies to be held and a space set aside for ceremony seating.
