Chinook Down
Part of the Change
Chinook Down tells the true story behind the WikiLeaks headline of a Chinook helicopter shot-down by a surface-to-air-missile in Afghanistan, killing all onboard. War reporter and filmmaker Alex Quade was supposed to be on that helicopter. She survived to report first-hand on the firefight and recovery.
In April 2012, a group of U.S. veterans of the Vietnam War traveled with Habitat for Humanity to the Mekong Delta. Over two weeks, the veterans healed decadesold wounds of war while building houses and hope in partnership with Vietnamese families.
