Have you made summer plans yet? We have! Did you know that Parks and Recreation offers summer programming in both Jensen Beach and Hobe Sound? For children ages 5 (completed kindergarten) through 12 years old a full day camp is available from 7:30am - 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. The cost is only $75 a week per child and includes field trips! Wait, did you read that correctly? Yes! INCLUDES FIELD TRIPS! We know that your children are your number one concern. They are ours as well and we make
sure that they come away from camp with a positive experience of new things, fun adventures and lasting memories that don’t break the bank! We’ll even offer a better bargain. Pay for the entire nine weeks up front and it will only cost $600. That’s a $75 savings off our already low cost! Space is limited for Summer Day Camp so get your registration in early! We can’t wait to have your kids join us for a fun-filled summer vacation! We know that they’ll have a great time so we’ll see you in June! See page 6 for more information.

After School Programming Offers a Fun and Safe Environment for Martin County Youth Summer is just getting started but parents are already thinking about sending their kids back to school! With that comes the task of finding affordable, established, wellmanaged after care. The Martin County Parks & Recreation Department and the Children’s Services Council of Martin County have a partnership that has produced five outstanding after
school programs. Funding the programs, including the countywide teen program, comes directly from the Children’s Services Council of Martin County. Programs are open on regular school days from 2:00pm to 6:00pm, early release days 12:00pm to 6:00pm and non-school days 7:30am to 6:00pm (not including County holidays).

Summer Camp programs are a positive part of a child’s life experience. They provide an opportunity to meet new friends, experience new things, have fun adventures and create lasting memories. Camps are facilitated in safe environments, by trained and caring staff who strive to provide a positive atmosphere to ensure positive experiences. Our two full-service summer camps offer an indoor/outdoor menu of recreational and educational activities including field trips, arts & crafts, wacky water days and much more! Programming will start on June 9, 2014 and will end on August 8, 2014. Hours are from 7:30am to 5:30pm. The Frances Langford Dockside Pavilion is an air conditioned banquet hall overlooking the picturesque Indian River Lagoon. Ideal for weddings, birthday parties and anniversaries, the pavilion boasts more than 3,800-square-feet of space, not including the caterers kitchen and wraparound balcony. This facility can accommodate up to 256 guests for your next event.
