The fascination with all forms of music doesn’t stop there, but the telling gets a bit frayed if one tries to include too much information. Gabi Swiatkowska is a widely published and award winning children’s book illustrator. She is also a renaissance artist with recognized excellence in numerous art forms including theatrical design, commercial design, sculpture and film making. Hit The Road aims to equip young artists with the knowledge, contacts and tools to work within the live industry and is funded by Creative Scotland’s Youth Music Initiative (YMI) and PRS for Music Foundation. The initiative has acted as a launchpad for the next generation of young artists with alumni including; Model Aeroplanes, KLOE, Be Charlotte, Indigo Velvet, JR Green, Man of Moon, Aylee and more.
