High team to 51 consecutive wins over her last two prep seasons, including a perfect 26-0 record and Kansas Class 4A state title as a junior in 2008-09…Finished her career atop Concordia’s all-time scoring (1,557), assists (444) and steals (293) lists… Earned first-team all-state honors for the second consecutive year from the Topeka Capital-Journal, Kansas Basketball Coaches Association and MaxPreps, averaging 19.7 points, 6.3 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 3.6 steals per game as a senior to lead the Panthers to a 25-1 season and state runner-up finish…Also earned first-team all-state accolades from the Wichita Eagle as a senior…Totaled a career-high 32 points and hit the game-winning shot in Concordia’s state semifinal win over Paola in 2009…Scored 19 points in the title game, including a crucial three-point

Buer started 25 of MSU’s 35 contests—including the final 13 games of the season—averaging 5.1 points and 1.4 assists per outing as a freshman...Posted the third-highest assist total (48) on the club and connected on 41 percent of her field goal attempts during her rookie campaign... Shot .474 from the floor in MVC play...Led MSU in assists five times and posted six double-figure scoring games... After a strong freshman season, Karly Buer returns to help anchor one of the deepest backcourts in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Kansas native brings a solid skill set and a keen understanding of the game that should once again suit her well in leading the MSU attack from the point guard position.
