Accredidation & Performance Standards To facilitate outstanding performance, local program directors receive ongoing training and professional development through the MSNJ program staff, MSNJ’s Downtown Revitalization & Management Institute and the National Main Street Network® (www.MainStreet.org). Local programs undergo a comprehensive formal review process to measure the program’s performance and adhearance to the National Trust Main Street Center’s® 10 Criteria for National Accredidation. Programs that fail to meet the National Accredidation standards at least once in three years are removed from the program and must cease to use the trademarked Main Street name.
