Develop and test enhanced communication techniques to improve recycling compliance at non-compliant multi-family buildings.

Evaluate potential for on-site power generation (e.g., anaerobic digestion) using animal waste, to serve as carbon “offset� programs, & generate electricity for the farmer/rancher. Encourage deployment of technologies as practical.

Encourage a reduction in, or elimination of, the use of disposable plates, containers, etc. in lodging facilities, restaurants and Alachua County government. Encourage instead the use of biodegradable or compostable dishware.
