Her books (The Pink Corner Office, published by Xlibris, 2006) and writings focus on wellness and how to achieve the most out of life, family, and the workplace. For 32 years Dr. Sue, a successful entrepreneur, has been Chairman and Managing Director of MTS Tax Solutions and MFS WealthCare. In 2012, Dr. Penn launched the Center for Entrepreneurial Development in Chicago. The center will provide services globally and focus on entrepreneurial training, leadership and business coaching. Dr. Suzanne Pennn, MBA, Ph.D. On May 15th, 2012 Dr. Penn received the Woman of Power in Business Award by the Minority Enterprise Advocate Magazine in Washington, D.C. She stated that “being recognized at this prestigious event was one of the most wonderful moments of my 32 year career.” The event honored fifty women entrepreneurs from across the globe. Also during 2012 Dr. Penn was inducted in the Who’s Who in Black Chicago publication. She was acknowledged for her professional achievements at a lavish event held in the grand lobby of the Merchandise Mart. In 2011, Dr. Penn joined the board of Ladies of Virtue, a 501c (3) organization headed by Jamila McClinton, Dr. Penn’s daughter. The group is dedicated to improving the lives of young women ages 10 to 18, in underserved communities. Those seats were to Chicago’s Cosmopolitan Chamber of Commerce, the National Black MBA Association, the Chicago YWCA and Christian Vision Center, a shelter for abused women. Since 2003 Dr. Penn has served on the President’s Council of the University of Illinois. There she assist in providing scholarships for high achieving, African-American students. Dr. Penn is the recipient of numerous awards such as, The 2009 Chicago Defender Women of Excellence Award, The 2010 Mothers Informing Mothers’ Phenomenal Woman Award and The New Orleans Center for Successful Living’s - Spirit of Greatness Award. The City of New Orleans, United States Senator Mary L. Landrieu and the City Council of New Orleans have all recognized her achievements. She has been featured in Newsweek, Today’s Chicago Woman, Crain’s Chicago Business the Chicago Tribune, Sun-Times, Defender and N’Digo newspapers. She is a graduate with honors of the University of Illinois-Chicago, she holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, and a Ph.D. in Business Management from Kennedy-Western University in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Andre Senegal ˜ New York Life Insurance Agent & Recipient of the career Life succeess Award
Andre Senegal recently joined the Greater Chicago New York Life General Office as an agent after over nine years experience in the financial industry. He quickly qualified for the career Life Success Award and was chosen by the Managing Partner to become a member of his Leadership Group. Andre targets several markets, including the African American Market, and is passionate about educating his clients on tax diversification, retirement planning, college funding, life insurance, and estate preservation. He enjoys working with small business owners as well as individuals. He started his career with Hewitt Associates, now AON Hewitt, targeting Fortune 500 companies to better manage their 401k and retirements plans. Andre furthered his experience with Computershare Investors Services where he provided customer assistance to shareholdrs and was responsible for Andre Senegal managing special requests from a key client, the McDonald’s Corporation. He attended St. Francis University and graduated as an honor student from St. Rita High School.
