East Norriton PARKS& Recreation Stanbridge Street Park Complex 2501 Stanbridge Street, located directly behind the Municipal Building, total of approximately 27.5 acres. Park features a lighted softball field, picnic pavilion with grills, play apparatus, 1 mile walking trail, scenic gazebo donated from the Jefferson House Restaurant, tennis courts, basketball court, exercise equipment, soccer field, sand volleyball court, concession stand and public restrooms. 18 of the 23 acres acquired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1980 for $59,000 is considered park land. Also 9.4 acres of vacant land was purchased from the Norris City Cemetery Company in 1982 for $36,000 utilizing a DCA grant of $18,000.

Calvert Hurdle Park North Wales Road, 15.3 acre park which features a hard surface hockey/basketball court, picnic area with tables, grills and play equipment. Property transferred from Scott Brothers Inc. to East Norriton Township in July 1969.

Ballard Wolffe Park Trooper Road and Woodland Avenue, 35.6 acres of woodlands with trails and benches. Circular trail developed with additional trails planned. This park and trail system is planned to be the start of the East Norriton Township Green Way. 24.5 acres sold to East Norriton Township in 1970 by Herbert and Margaret Ballard for $75,000, 11.13 acres deeded to East Norriton Township by Evelyn Wolffe for $17,000 in 1972 provided property remains as open space or a park.

Old Arch Road Park Old Arch Road, 2.8 acre park includes play equipment, and picnic area. Park property purchased in 1996 for $135,000 utilizing $40,000 Recreation Improvement and Rehabilitation Grant, $81,000 Montgomery County Open Space Grant, and $5,000 from a Legislative Initiative Grant.

Louis K. “Mack” Watson Sr. Memorial Park Rahway Avenue between Shamokin and Bristol Streets. 2.0 acres which includes play equipment, basketball court and picnic area. Partially purchased in 1981 21 lots (20’x100’) for $31,700 utilizing HUD grants in the amount of $25,360, 3 additional properties purchased in 1998 and 2000 for $23,000 plus a land swap utilizing Montgomery County Open Space Grant for $20,700.
