sop in keeping with its well-known tradition of opportunism and adventurism – even Buthelezi was reported to have said the vote is not a panacea for everything. But Buthelezi, lackey that he is, (he was really created by white rule as such) is prepared to slaughter our people so as to become top dog amongst the curs. Meanwhile, despite the devastation that the IMF and the World Bank have wrought on the economies of so many in South America, the West Indies, Asia, and practically the whole of Africa, Mandela has already promised them South Africa. According to the “economysticism” of the ANC/SACP, as soon as the leader-goats are allowed to enter the South African parliament as ministers or ordinary MPs, the capitalist system ceases to oppress or exploit black workers and peasants or anyone else who is now victim to it. Under the subhead: “Angling for position”, is written: “Mokaba and Mbeki’s political positions could not appear more distant, with the suave Mbeki more often seen in the presence of captains of industry and international political leaders than in his home territory. “Mbeki has allegedly not developed a large popular base in the ANC, while Mokaba has overcome challenges to his youth leadership. Some analysts believe he has given his backing to Mbeki to keep the front-runner and ANC chief negotiator, Cyril Ramaphosa out.” There is no honour amongst thieves! But it seems Thabo knows on which side his bread is buttered. Of course, if one settles on capitalism one goes to capitalists and associates with capitalists whilst Mokaba is blowing hot and
