The Modlin Center for the Arts presents, in partnership with Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, the fourth season of filmed performances by the National Theatre, London.
The Royal National Theatre is one of Great Britain’s premier theatre companies. Founded in 1963, the National Theatre presents an eclectic program that includes Shakespeare and other international classic drama, as well as new productions by contemporary playwrights. In 2009, the National Theatre created National Theatre Live which broadcasts the best of British theatre to movie screens around the world. Screenings are shown in high definition and utilize dynamic camera work to provide an engrossing viewer experience.
