Michelle Green

Two years ago I joined the EVSC as Central High School’s eLearning coach. This year I’m transitioning into new responsibilities, and for the fi rst time I won’t be a part of a “school.” The change is a bit unsettling—after all, I still feel like a teacher. But there is a sense of certainty when I consider the increased opportunities for doing the thing I love most about teaching: supporting learners in achieving success. I’ll willingly provide references for math and science teachers who are justifi ably concerned about my background in teaching English grades 6-12. While my love of language was the driving force when I entered the fi eld of education fourteen years ago, my passion has evolved into learning technologies that enable us to better evaluate, express and share ideas. I look forward to hearing your goals for the school year and hope that we have the opportunity to collaborate.
