What makes our expos special and fun and illuminating? People tell us that it’s a combination of many things. This April we are thrilled to have Maureen Hancock with us. Maureen is one of the most exciting new mediums around and has been drawing large audiences in Massachusetts and Eastern New Jersey, with appearances on major TV networks, including CBS and CNN, and a nationwide series in the works. This is her first appearance in this part of New Jersey, and we are sure you will be as impressed with her messages from the beyond and her friendly manner, as have so many others. Have you ever felt bad for no apparent reason? Do you find yourself making choices that are less than optimal? Does it seem like you’re always swimming upstream? Modern science is discovering that it may not be your fault. We’re born into bodies that are already preloaded with burden and limitation from the ancestors that have come before us. These are measurable imprints that science calls epigenomes, which are stored as attachments to our DNA. These imprints are passed down from generation to generation and have a profound affect on virtually every area of our lives including behavior, beliefs, resilience to stress, healing response, and even our ability to create success in our lives. The good news is we don’t have to be a victim of this past “karma.” Using a simple process known as Ancestral Clearing, we can release this accumulation of unwanted debris and rewrite our narrative, creating a future of unlimited possibility, profound well-being and true fulfillment.

When we look inside and notice directly what doesn’t feel good— physical pain, emotional hurt or regret, a negative belief, or even a person we have a hard time forgiving, we make the important distinction between our story and judgment about it. We enter the realm of direct experience. We must go beyond our narrative and access the deepest part of our being—that which is connected to Source and begin removing the root of the issue. This is accomplished using the simple, yet profound tools of peace-making and forgiveness through Ancestral Clearing work. If we don’t feel good, where is that coming from? Not from the future or even the present, even though we may be experiencing something that’s been assigned a medical label. At the very root are unresolved imprints from the past. We can try to push through them or even “be positive,” but more often than not, this proves futile. Being positive about something that needs to be resolved at its source is like spraying perfume on something rotting in the refrigerator. So how do we access that which authored our narrative—authored the very program that affects every aspect of our lives: physical, emotional, spiritual and financial? It’s been said that we are created in the image and likeness of the Creator. So, what does that leave out? Nothing. It’s the All That Is. Ancestral Clearing is about connecting to the Creator and through that connection removing the imprints of adversity that have been causing our suffering. It is clearing the unresolved issues which we’ve accumulated from our life as well as our parents, grandparents and the rest of our lineage for thousands of years. It’s about rewriting our script. The “Being” part of us doesn’t suffer. It’s just aware. It’s aware of all that shows up, but more importantly, it’s aware of itself. When we connect with that direct awareness of who we are, it’s there that we have access to our script.

13 Things You Can Do to Protect Animals by Dr. Linda Bender
Animals remind us that all beings who walk, stand, swim, crawl, or fly are radiant, mysterious, and unique expressions of the Source. Every species, every culture has its own genius. Our human “species-specific genius”—our ability to protect and serve nature and the other beings with whom we share this world is desperately needed now. To see a problem and fix it utilizing our individual gifts that are alive in “the eye of your heart” is what the human heart aches to do. Often in my conversations with people, they express feelings of helplessness saying “the problems are so overwhelming” and how can their efforts possibly make a difference? Each time we help one animal, we serve the greater good. Who can judge what one act of kindness will birth? Gandhi once said, “What you can do in response to the ocean of suffering may seem insignificant, but it is very important that you do it.” Listed here are simple things we can all do to improve the quality of our own lives, helping animals and our environment. Be creative and come up with your own list of ways to help: 1. Be a voice for the voiceless; speak out against any injustice to animals you encounter. 2. Pick up litter wherever you go, especially in or near water, where litter can end up around the neck of a bird or embedded in a wing. 3. Do not spray pesticides and chemicals on lawns. Do not use bug zappers; they kill harmless insects that are food for birds, bats, etc. 4. Read labels; do not buy products that use animals for testing and research. 5. Garden for wildlife; plant perennial gardens instead of grass. They attract birds, bees, and butterflies. 6. Feed local birds. Remember in the winter to continue feeding, as they will depend on you as a source of food. Feed until late spring. 7. Provide water for wildlife, using birdbaths or small trays, especially in summer in developed area where natural sources of water are limited. 8. Keep your cat indoors. Vulnerable native birds are prey. Some estimates say as many as five hundred million birds are lost each year to cats in North America. 9. Adopt a pet, or donate your time or money to a shelter or animal sanctuary. Do not support
puppy mills, or breeders, when millions of dogs and cats at shelters need homes. 10. Do not buy animals taken from the wild and do not turn wildlife into pets. 11. You can help native bees by buying or building a bumble-bee house, wooden boxes designed for bees to nest. 12. Build a bat house. Bats help humans by eating millions of flying insects—provide them a place to live. 13. Learn in advance which facilities in your area help animals in distress. If you rescue an animal, you will know where to go. Every day people are making a difference, creating change in their lives that positively impacts animals and nature. Hi. It’s me. I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know I’m okay. The strangest part about my passing is I don’t feel gone from you. I do hear you talk to me, and most of the time I’m just trying to get you to feel my presence. I also smile when you keep asking me for signs that you set up—I promise they will come when you least expect it. I really do try. Please stop saying you can’t feel me. When I see you laugh, it vibrates through my being and I smile too. Feelings like guilt, anger, regret, and immense sadness sometimes build a barrier between us. Everyone grieves differently; however, my hope is that the signs I send help take the edge off, even for a quick moment. I would love for you to try harder to let go of those heavy layers that put the weight of the world on your shoulders. I might actually be able to come to you more easily. Finding the balance between “feeling it to heal it” and being stuck in it is a fine line. I honor how you grieve. No, you couldn’t have saved me. No, you shouldn’t have done more. Yes, you made the right decision. I realize now that this earthly experience is all about finding our way back to love. All the rest is just part of the tough journey we call, “Life.” Thank you for letting me be your teacher. Until we meet again, promise me that you will love with all your heart, forgive in ways you thought not possible, release anger that no longer serves you, and slide into home plate saying, “I did it! I lived for you. I honor your memory by finding joy again.”
