working with local teachers to develop age-appropriate tours of the exhibit, as well as pre-and post-visit materials and activities for school groups. Already dozens of teachers have contacted CMEE expressing interest in bringing their class to the exhibition. At the conclusion of the exhibition, CMEE will make the exhibit's materials and lesson plans available to teachers via offsite visits and its website. This exhibit is funded in part by Kew Management and the Southampton Bath and Tennis Club Fund. Fri 11/28 – Wed 12/31 Bookhampton at CMEE 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Combine a fun visit to the Museum and the convenience of checking off some gifts on your holiday shopping list! CMEE and BookHampton, an East End community treasure and mainstay in the independent bookstore world, will cooperate on a children's bookstore in the Museum's lobby during the holiday season starting on Friday, November 28. This partnering initiative reflects CMEE's mission and ongoing interest in bringing an educational experience to young museum-goers, as well as increasing partnerships with other community organizations. The books will be both fiction and nonfiction and will include board books for the youngest readers, picture books as well as chapter books.
