Sat 5/15 Cutchogue Canine Classic – “Where Every Dog is a Star!” 11:00 am – 5:00 pm Fund-raiser Be sure not to miss the Cutchogue Canine Classic being held at Borghese Vineyard. All dogs are welcome to enter. This will be the third year that dog enthusiasts gather at Borghese Vineyard to show off their favorite pooches in 'competitions' designed to be just-plain fun! The competitions include: 'Best Smooch with a Pooch', 'Best Lap Dog over 70lbs', 'Best Pet & People Lookalike.' and more.The best part is that this show is a fund-raiser for both the Guide Dog Foundation and local animal shelters.There will be a demonstration by Dan Heubler and his champion frisbee-catching border collie, a dog agility course that all dogs can attempt, music and a throng of inventive craft vendors - exhibiting fine arts, doggie items and everything in-between. We will be closed Thanksgiving day, Thursday November 26, Christmas Day, Fri Dec 25 and New Year's Day, Fri Jan 1. Please note that we will be closing at 2pm on Christmas eve day (Dec 24) and New Year's eve day(Dec 31). We are tasting at least 7 different wines each day, and provide very informative tastings about the wines and the winemaking process. If you wish to do a tasting, we recommend arrival by around 4:30 at the latest. As we are very small, we do not offer tours of the winery.

You may visit without an appointment if you are a group of 6 or less. If you'd like to make an appointment, please contact the winery prior to the day you'd like to visit. No bus, van our limousine tours without appointment please. Tastings are free to wine club members, and $6 for the general public. Your visit is most welcome! Please, no visiting dogs or cellphones in the tasting room. Please note that there is no smoking on the property.
