Sun 4/5 Unaccustomed Earth, Jhumpa Lahiri Sun 5/3 Loving Frank, Nancy Horan Sun 6/7 Those Who Save Us, Jenna Blum Fri 4/3 Alea 5 – Synergy Arts Gallery – Painting, Music and Wine 6:30 pm $10 in advance Prominent Long Island ceramics artist, Gina Mars, will be participating in a live collaboration with musician, Frank Doyle. The project, entitled Alea 5 will feature Ms. Mars working live on the potter’s wheel creating clay vessels in spontaneous interaction with Frank’s improvised electronic music. Alea 5, one of many experimental collaborative projects presented by Synergy Arts Gallery, will be hosted by Castello di Borghese Vineyard and Winery located on Route 48 in Cutchogue, NY.Tickets are $10 if purchased in advance by April 1. Tickets may be purchased by phone, email, or at the gallery. Admission price includes hors d’oeuvres. Wine will be available by the glass.

This combination of instruments was extremely popular with French composers during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and as such, Canta Libre specializes in a repertoire niche which truly brings the music and cultural atmosphere of turn-of-the-century Paris to audiences in the twenty-first century.
