Petrie Court Café Set against the backdrop of Central Park, this European-style restaurant serves à la carte lunch and afternoon tea. The lunch menu features hot and cold entrées; salads; small plates; artisanal cheeses; desserts; and local, domestic, and imported wines. Additionally, themed prix fixe and cocktail menus inspired by the culture and artists of major exhibitions are offered throughout the year.

Summer on the Roof Garden The Metropolitan Museum’s Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Roof Garden (open April–November, weather permitting) displays modern works of art set against the spectacular backdrop of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline. Enjoy refreshments from the Roof Garden Café in one of New York’s most dramatic rooftop sculpture gardens. See page 7 for this year’s installation, The Roof Garden Commission: Dan Graham with Günther Vogt. The Roof Garden Café’s Martini Bar is open Friday and Saturday evenings, 5:30–8:15, weather permitting.
