CRAWFORD,STEPHENSSETCAREERHIGHS IN BAHAMAS • Despite going 1-2 in The Bahamas, Chris Crawford and D.J. Stephens posted career highs. • In the Nov. 23 game versus Minnesota, Stephens netted a career-high 15 points (5-of-7 FG, 3-of-3 treys, 2-of-4 FT). • The 6-foot-5 forward also hit a career-best three treys and tied career highs for FG made (5) and three-point attempts (3). • Crawford pulled down a career-high 12 boards in the Tigers’ win over Northern Iowa Nov. 24. • Crawford also scored a season-high 18 points against Northern Iowa, posting his first career double-double. MEMPHIS RECEIVES NCAA PUBLIC RECOGNITION AWARD FOR THIRD YEAR • For the third-straight year, the Memphis men’s basketball team received an NCAA Public Recognition Award, given to teams with APRs in the top-10 percent of their respective sports. • Memphis was one of 13 schools in the nation to receive an NCAA Public Recognition Award and also participate in the 2012 NCAA Tournament.
