Sophomore guard Will Barton posted career-highs in points, 27, and rebounds, 14, while leading No. 21/20 Memphis to a 71-54 win at Miami. Sophomore forward Tarik Black added nine points and six boards and sophomore guard Chris Crawford chipped in nine points and handed out five assists. Freshman forward Adonis Thomas scored six points, but hauled in a career-high 10 rebounds as Memphis improved to 5-2. Miami fell to 5-3 with the loss.
