Holly is in her earlytwenties. They’re both very much lost in their individual quarter-life crises. Ashley quit his job to travel in search of clarity. He ventures to his childhood home with plans of breaking-and-entering for the nostalgic rush. Along the way he meets Holly, who, after a short-lived relationship with her restaurant manager, also finds herself jobless and aimless. The film chronicles Holly and Ashley’s brief commiseration as grown-up children stumbling through life’s final bout of growing pains.

The movie is a classic whodunit. An ambitious detective, Ben (James Ray) investigates the murder of his wife’s best friend’s husband (Shane Dean). His wife’s best friend, Alaina (Katherine Stewart) holds the key to the mystery but she struggles with reality and imagination. Her condition is brought about by experimental drugs from her infertility treatment program. Horror scream queen Tiffany Shepis plays the detective’s wife.
